Rainbow Roll, Dragon Roll, Tempura Roll, Teriyaki and Spicy Bulgogi. All entries were fresh and tasty. Wait time was perfect .I’ll be back soon.

Horrible service! The owner and the cashier were bickering while I was trying to pay. I would give this place zero stars, if it was possible. Cashier was very slow and had no knowledge how to use a credit card machine. It took over 15 minutes just to try to order. So I decided to leave.

Last time I eat here or order to go. I have been a loyal customer since the beginning and I didn’t mind the price increase recently but when the lady wanted to charge me the kimchi when I ordered to go that was the last straw. She wanted to charge me $ 4 extra for something it is supposed to be given free if I eat there. I tried talking to her but she wouldn’t come out and talk to me so that means all she cares is about money and not customer loyalty.

I should know better. I really wanted sushi rolls. I got the Hawaiian and San’s roll. None of it looked like the picture… the tuna was not so fresh. The albacore was warmed up in the microwave. On the positive the rolls were huge. .about it. I couldn’t finish it though since I was not enjoying it. The service was okay. Next time I’ll get the hot pots or bulgogi. Skip the sushi.

Excessively slow service for early afternoon. Stopped in the middle of taking our order to finish packing up a take-out order and also to deliver plates of food to the tables. Friendly and helpful young woman, but where was the older woman who showed up after our food came? Young woman needed a food runner earlier. Everything was overly salty. Only got the Korean food, not the sushi. Coworkers really like the place, so… We’ll try again another time and order what they like.

It was decent food. Especially because it’s the only Korean place in h.p. That I know of. I had the bento box with bulgogi. It was delish. Definitely gonna frequent this place. Please add pork bellies to your menu!!! Prices are reasonable.

I never post a bad review but the food was BAD. Got an Alaskan roll and the salmon looked like it came out of a can. Tried 1 piece and I couldn’t eat anymore. Idk wtf happened in the last few months but God dayum. Look at the salmon in my picture and the salmon in the other pics people posted a few months back and you can see the difference! Don’t go cheap and start selling processed cancer giving cloned salmon to your customers. It wasn’t just the rolls we got but other entrees were just as bad. I’m not going to be detailed with everything but try the food yourself and I’m sure you will agree.

Sushi in Huntington Park?! whaaaaat?!! New Time is exactly that! NEW so I just had to try it at least once. whenever I crave sushi I resort to sushi on the other side of town being that there are zero sushi restaurants on my side of the neighborhood. So I decided to drop in and give it a shot. I went around 8pm and the place was empty, and there were three people behind the counter. I didn’t receive a greet or acknowledgement or a smile(which is why I took a star off) But I didn’t feel like it was with bad intention they are probably just shy. Ordering was a bit tedious because the menu was a tad confusing. The display menu and the paper menu were completely different. Also note that New Time is not exclusively a sushi restaurant and it is NOT a Japanese restaurant it is Korean. The menu is pretty extensive but note that the sushi part of the menu is limited so if you are craving only sushi this isn’t the best place. but they have lots of noodle plates, teriyaki and chicken plates, and some other interesting mix of hot pots. New Time is fine but I doubt I will return. I will have to keep returning to Lotus and Sushi Enya for the delicious sushi.

Whaaat. Legit Korean in Huntington Park. Service as mentioned was a touch slow — I’ll try calling in my order ahead of time. Prices for Korean dishes are only OK but there are a lot of reasonably priced items to choose from as well(e.g., rice bowls starting at $ 4.95). I had the yuk gae jang(spicy beef soup). It hit the spot. This place is getting a spot near the top of my lunch rotation. Happy eating everyone!
