waisted my 30 minute lunch just on a cup of sour cream and an order of flour tortilla! literally waited 20mins just to get that and the lady STILL has the audacity to hand me my order just plainly in hand. told her «may i have a bag please» rolls her eyes and still giving attitude. never going here again

I understand restaurants sometimes are busy and people might not be the most responsible in keeping it clean but at the end the restaurant must maintain it clean regardless so the customer that are coming in find a clean restaurant or in this case a table. Obviously here they don’t see that. I placed my order looked for a table (a lot of them dirty) I asked to have the table I wanted be serviced and to make the story short i sat down in a little table then I finished eating and nothing happens. Disappointed at the fact that they don’t realized cleaness in a restaurant should be #1 in their list I decided to write this. The floor needed mopping, the salad area needed cleaning, all around was bad. I hope they don’t something about this. FYI there was 9 of us eating in the restaurant so at this time it was not busy.

Came here last night because my dad asked me to pick up some chicken. Seeing how this place is mainly about chicken meals, I assumed they would give me my food promptly. I get up to the cash register and ask for an 8pc chicken meal. I am informed that they have no chicken and would have to wait an 1.5 hours. Ridiculous! How are you not prepared to sell the one thing that you’re supposed to have plenty of. Management needs to prepare for rush hour and have more chicken ready.

Very slow here waisted all my 15 minute break waiting for 1 casadia and I was the only person at the drive through. Will not be back.

Horrible drive thru service. The food is great but they never give what you u ask for. For example, once I asked for guacamole and they literally gave me a container that had guacamole smeared on the walls only! Today I asked for salsa de tomate and it’s literally filled less than a quarter of the way. And the employees always seem to be in an awful mood. When I dine in it’s a different story, and that’s the only reason I’m giving it two stars.

Horrible service. Waited for ever in long drive thru line just to get to the speaker to be told cash only. Accommodated my order for them just to wait longer to get my food. My lunch hour wasted. Horrible experience at this location every time. This place needs new management

Love this place but the wait time is a bit long. Sometimes they should have 2 registers open instead of one. And why a «buzzer» for your food when its a small fast food joint?

I grew up with these guys, literally.
I remember going here and being so simple and dull.
They were small but one thing I admire from them, is the food.
The flavor never changed and new things were slowly added and customers like me loved it.
Bowls, tortas, new burritos and etc.
Most of us who’ve been here know what I’m on about but, I tilt my hat in respect to far you’ve guys came.
The food is good and in lunch time, wow becomes busier then a Swapmeet, literally.

I swear this place never fails at failing. Never get food right and today I found not one but two hairs in my salad. Never again

I have had staffed quesadillas and it was amazing. Freshly made with fresh ingridiants the tortilla was just got off the gril all crisp out side. This is a new dish for ela Pollo Loco and if prepared right it is the best dish to my test and this location is doing fenomenal jog, I would give it 10 stars if I could. Because of my fantastic experiance in this location I did order two staffed quesadilla in other location and it was disaster which tells me this location is the best abd it take pride of the food preparation and quality, I credit it to the team a good manager and good cooks. You guys do a fantastic job and keep the good work, customers like me do notice your effort. Thank you for great experiance.

high School drop out, manner-​less Crew.
SHIFT: Early saturdays
So this is the high school drop out crew with lil manners and huge attitude.
I went in on a saturday morning tryin’ to feed my kids and me as I have done for the past month.
I had order a particular dish with the avocado on the side, upon receiving my order i noticed that the avocado was missing, I asked nicely can I have the avocado please.
The confused crew member who appeared as if I had burst into her living room while she was watching tv, replied with a snarky attite «what avocado». I proceded to explain that my item included avocado and that i needed it on the side, she was even more put off by that statement and decided to check with her «manager» I quote his title because this guys shouldnt be allowed to manage a garbage can at a dumpster.
Anyhow she asked him and he approached me and said what do you need, I said i need the avocado on the side, he said which type of avocado blended or whole, I said –it doesnt matter just give me whatever. To what he replied loudly «WE DONT HAVE WHATEVER». I stared at him fo a second in shock picked up my food and left.
I really, really hope someone in charge of this horrible crew gets to see this review.
I shall not set foot n this place ever again.

Big thank you goes to Carlos and crew there at Pollo loco HP. I ordered 24 pieces for Valentine’s Day potluck and they were right on. Carlos was generous enough to provide extra plates utensils salsa even offered other items they made the potluck a sensational. Busy but working hard to make sure your order comes out 100%

The service was horrible first I did not like how they hrlped out there customers and wait is horrible just had a bad experience and will not stop at the pollo loco in hhntington any more… I kept seejng the reviews that it was good and fast service clearly it was wrong. Will not ever stop by this store again.

They have a nice little family meal deal for $ 20 its

Aside from this being one of the most crowded intersections in Huntington Park, this is my favorite El Pollo Loco. Always clean inside, always great service and of course the food always tastes !

I’m giving in and reviewing this EPL location. I live nearby so I frequent this location and approximately 3 different times, they have run out of chicken! I mean WTH?! The Crazy Chicken ran out of chicken?! Okay, one time it was near closing so I guess they had a busy day, but the other two instances were around dinner time. Instead of chicken, I was offered a bean and cheese burrito and lots of salsa. If I wanted a bland burrito I’d go to Taco Bell next door. Lately the chicken here has been rather dry so I’ve been ditching EPL and going to Los Pollos in Bell instead.
And I hate that I always have to ask for salsa when driving in the drive-​thru. I wouldn’t dare go inside because it’s always super busy in there too.
BTW, the fries here are really good.

While I was working in the area, I ate here 90% of the time. The food is excellent: fresh and tasty and inexpensive, however, everytime I would come here there’d be at least one big fly flying around the dining room which always bugged me, and also it’s so freakin’ busy all the time. If you don’t get there early you have to get take out because there is nowhere to sit. The last time I was here there was the cutest 1 year old baby sitting near me. His parents were completely ignoring him, caught up in some quiet private conversation while they ate. The baby sat in his high chair for a while before realizing he was not going to get fed with any help. So he picked up a spoon and reached out and began to feed himself, only enroute to his mouth he’d flip the spoon over and the food would fall all over his shirt. He noticed me watching him and began to flirt and smile, but he kept trying with that spoon at least a dozen times, before he gave up and used his hands. He ate and smiled at me, rice and cole slaw all over his face and shirt, and I had to talk myself out of kidnapping him. Hell, they wouldn’t have noticed he was gone.
