My family of sewers and I have been going to Arias Sewing for ten years. Danny, Jorge and his father are incredibly knowledgeable on every type of sewing, serger and cover stitch machine. They have 90 day guarantee warranty for anything repaired there AND do house calls. Very reasonably priced and nice to do business with.
If the rating system had more stars I would give them 10+.

This is the place to take in my sewing machines when it needs repairing. The environment is unkempt, but if you ask them what you’re looking for, they will usually find it for you. I recommend to take a Spanish speaking friend since they are limited in English.
If you’re lucky, you might catch George working behind the counter (contract repairer) and is the person to ask for since he’s very knowledgable in both fixing the machines and can articulate very well in English.
Street meter parking and the hours are 10 – 7 Monday-​Saturday, closed Sunday.
I’m debating between 3 stars or 4, but they always come through in helping me out, so hence the 4 stars.

The place is not the most organized but then again we are taking about machines how neat is a shop suppose to be? Customer Service is so-​so but have many years in of expertise in fixing Sewing machines and Vacuum Cleaners. I like that they have lots of hard to find parts and supplies for sewing machine and vac’s. I like to bring in my Scissors and Knifes here to sharpen, do a great job of it and cheap. Usually about $ 3 for large pair of scissors. Small selection of sewing notions too. No Credit Cards. Parking on the street with meter.
