The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

This is my go-​to stop after my daily FedEx run. The drive-​thru is extremely convenient. I have never had a bad experience here — everyone is extremely friendly.
I wish Coffee Bean didn’t use tiny ice pieces instead of ice cubes, but that’s not this location’s fault.

Best Coffee Bean location. Clean, quick service, and a ton of indoor and outdoor seating. Plus, there is even a drive-​thru!

wifi and great place for a break or take out coffee or ultimate blended drink, hazelnut mocha or latte.

I love this coffee bean. They are so quick and friendly. DON’T GO TO EISTIEN BROS BAGELS. THE RUDEST. You’ll be treated like a queen compared to their service. And the bagels are just as good

I’ve had a gift card in my wallet for over 2 years and finally decided to go and use it. I love having cappuccino’s but right now I am on a slow carb diet so I just ordered a decaf coffee. The girl behind the counter asked if she wanted me to leave room at the top for «cream» to which I replied «yes».
I take the coffee and walk over to the condiment bar looking for nutmeg, I ask about it and I’m told they don’t offer it. Whatever, except I can’t stand cinnamon in my coffee. Then I start looking for the cream only to find containers for half and half, non-​fat and whole milk. When I ask, I’m told «no we don’t serve cream». Really? Then why did you ask if I wanted room left for it? Without saying another word, I poured my untouched coffee in the trash and walked out.
Apparently none of the stores provide nutmeg or real cream. Now what do I do with this crappy card?

The coffee is really good and really smooth I feel it beats Starbucks plus Starbucks will be leaving the state soon I feel they are to expensive for coffee.

The reason for such a 3-​star rating has to be the restroom. The restroom is nice because it has the code-​lock which is for customers only. The bad thing is the stench and cleanliness. I had my coffee and wanted to use the facilities before my long drive home. Mistake, but I had to go. The coffee was great and so was the customer service. The bathroom just made the whole CBTL experience bad. But a 3-​star rating is better than nothing right?

The coffee drinks here are outstanding! The service is good but it’s a bit overprised. The pastries are very yummy as well.

Came on a week night with a study group. The customer service here is amazing! They greet everyone that comes in. I appreciate that. They are quick and knowledgeable! Such a great place to study, too! Pretty roomy in size so you actually have room to study

I was here a couple days ago and I was highly grossed out with one of the staff members. As we were waiting for our coffees, I witnessed an employee walk out from the back and began to have a bad coughing attack. She coughed into both her hands and then proceeded to touch everything and take orders AFTER she saw me watch her do it and her co workers watch her, too. She did not wash her hands before continuing back to work.
I normally never have a problem with the service or staff, but after witnessing that, it doesn’t really make me on want to come back to this location. Employees should know better and should have told her to wash up or go home.

Hello people of the bean. I went to this cb&tl for a quick stop on a journey to my brothers house and got the best matcha green tea ice blended ever. Was served by a woman who was kissed by the angels. Thanks gurl!

i can’t believe i have never came here to study! This is the perfect place because there is enough space to study, a bunch of chargers outlet, and the employees arent loud.
I feel like this has been a hidden spot, because there are so many students here! its nice the vibe here are students. Parking is easy for me too.

The service was nice but she didn’t listen. I asked for an iced latte they gave me a blended drink, I say whip they say no whip, the breakfast sandwich was microwaved and was soggy and runny. My now blended drink was not good at all it taste like blended syrup without coffee.
Needless to say I will not be using their drive thru again

I have been coming to this location for years and what truly sets it apart from other coffee shops is the consistency! This shop has consistently delicious coffee, cleanliness/​comfortable environment but most of all– a consistently amazing staff!
This location is a bit on the quieter side which I prefer because that makes it easy to study, draw, relax– in essence a place to focus verses a location for large groups of people to socialize.
And if you’re not on the go and feeling environmentally friendly, I suggest asking to have your beverage in a glassware!

I absolutely love this location. There is lots of room and a large table right in the middle with plenty of outlets.
The WiFi is not very good. Log in is easy but you can get kicked off often if you stay for any period of time. Try to un-​click the «log-​in automatically» feature and you will have better luck staying connected. I often have to watch YouTube videos for school and have NEVER been able to here so I don’t suggest coming here if you need a great internet connection. Although I have never had trouble logging onto my online classes and getting my work done.
This use to be a Burger King so it is one of the largest Coffee Beans I have ever have the pleasure of using. They did it right with almost every seat equipped with an outlet.
The staff is very friendly and helpful even bringing out drinks and food to customers from time to time. They greet every patron that comes in the door and are always willing to make you what you want (if they have it).
This by far is my favorite study spot.

Both the coffee and the tea are good here, I’ve had both. The caramel fraps are delicious. I recommend this place to anyone who likes coffee.

Keep this on the down-​low. This place is really good for studying/​work/​reading.
There is a lot of room, lots of places to sit, all of varieties. High desks, normal desks, cushion seats, standing desk with high chairs, and sofa chairs.
Many outlets for laptops.
The wifi is strong, but it is really hard to get on if you have a macbook. In order to get on, try these things (I am still working on the magic formula to get this to work instantly): restart your computer, turn the wifi on and off, and try different browsers, and try going to
as the first site you try to browse.
It took me literally 20 mins to get on the internet, but it’s still worth it.
The service is strong.
Bathrooms need a code to get in, so ask for it.
Park in the back, front parking lot is really small.
I have yet to see it truly crowded, and it is dead in the later evening.
Watch out for homeless people, considering that it is on Beach. I’ve seen a couple of people randomly yell at people in or near this place. It’s the area that’s to blame, not this establishment.

I’m not a coffee drinking at all so this review is based on other things for example
Oatmeal! Uhhhh delicious! With numerous options! Best out there!
But the big reason i like the bean is the hot chocolate is by far superior then starbucks hot chocolate! No if and or buts about it! Do yourself a favor make the switch :)

This Coffee Bean is located on Talbert and Beach kitty corner from In-​N-​Out and across the street from the cemetery. The mini-​shopping plaza that it’s situated in is small and has the worst parking imaginable. More spots are available behind the plaza on Talbert.
This is a smaller CB&TL, but not small to the point where it’s claustrophobic. There’s enough room for small study groups and this location seems to have more outlets for charging laptops and cell phones. I’d say this is one of the more work-​friendlier Coffee Beans I’ve been to.
Service is usually very friendly and I’ve never had a problem with any of the staff. Every now and then you’ll have a weird customer sitting there staring at you while you’re eating your croissant and if that happens, try your best to not make a scene.
If it weren’t for the parking situation and the fact that I don’t have a CB&TL within walking distance from my office and another next to my apartment, I would probably come here more often. This place works if I’m in a bind.

LOVE COFFEE BEAN. This coffee establishment is my all time favorite. Starbucks doesn’t even come close. The staff is friendly and the drinks are so good. Other coffee places can try but they just don’t taste the same. Most of the time I’ll drive out of my way or far just to come here. The vibe of the establishment is different too. It is still a place to come hangout or do homework but it has good lighting and it doesn’t seem snobby. I will always come to get my coffee bean.
