The Car Clinic

I wrote a review after taking my car to my Mother’s mechanic for a minor situation. I thought Rick was honest as my Mother had been going to him for years. Now I realize he was no doubt ripping her off for years after what he did to me. I took my car in because the air conditioning/​heating unit wasn’t blowing. I had had the unit completely gone through and fixed 6 months ago. After leaving my car I got a call 2 hours later and Rick told me that the problem had been hard to diagnose and he had put it on a scope (or what ever equipment they use to diagnose) for ¹⁄₁₂ hours and that I now owed him 335.00 for the diagnosis!!! The part was 85.00 but he never gave me the opportunity to know what the cost of a diagnosis would be… that is not professional is my opinion at all!!! So much for thinking this guy was one of the good honest mechanics…

The Car Clinic is the best shop I’ve ever been to. Rick, the owner/​mechanic, is extremely honest & reasonable. You will NOT be over quoted or charged for unnecessary work here! My family & I have been bringing our vehicles here for years and would not go to anyone else.
Rick is so into cars that he was going to go car shopping with me when I was thinking of buying a Camaro last year. (I got married and am having my 3^rd little munchkin now, so I opted for another SUV instead) but he also helped with reliable SUV recommendations.
Rick is a «two thumbs up» kinda mechanic!
