Bad experience and Owner /​manager (older guy) I thought was a bit of a dick. Let me explain. I go in and buy a new long board. Ride it out of the shop about 100 yards and realize the bearings are making somewhat of a rattling noise. I pick up the longboard, spin the wheels, and on 2 out of the 4 wheels the bearings are making a distinct rattling noise.
The bearings weren’t horrible, but they definitely were not spinning like new ones should. The two wheels on which the bearings were rattling were spinning much slower than the wheels where the bearings were spinning like new.
So I go back to the shop to get the bearings replaced and the owner is just a complete dick about it. Rather than apologizing for selling me worn out bearings on a new longboard he gets an attitude with me like its my fault and basically just acts as if I’m this huge inconvenience to him for bringing back these fucked up bearings for him to replace.
He resists replacing them initially, telling me that there is nothing wrong with them and that he «couldn’t hear the rattling». But I tell him to turn down his music and listen closer and at that point he couldn’t deny that they were in fact rattling and BEGRUDGINGLY replaces only 2 out of the 4 bearings which were rattling.
While doing so he tells me «fine, I don’t care man, I think they’re fine, but I’ll replace them if it makes you feel better» essentially making me out to be the bad guy who’s nothing but an inconvenience to him.
Absolutely terrible customer service in this situation. In my mind I’m like «Hey DICK, how do you think I feel spending all this money on a new longboard that has jacked up bearings which are SUPPOSED to be new, and now your’re making me out to be an asshole when I’m simply trying to get what I payed for: New fucking bearings!!!
Then fast forward to 3 months down the road when the bearings started rattling and squeaking again do to heavy use (which is to be expected) I go in and buy new bearings for $ 30 which were advertised as their premium brand and literally 3 days later 4 out of the 8 bearings were completely fucking wrecked. MUCH, Much worse than my 3 month old bearings were at that point. As in when I took them off the skateboard and tried to spin them they would instantly lock up and stop spinning. This was majorly frustrating to me because I went out of my way to avoid any water and dirt at all times because I obviously wanted to preserve their newness as long as possible.
So I go back in 6 days later after buying these new bearings, not even expecting to get new bearings, figuring I just got screwed and maybe some dirt somehow got in these brand new fucking bearings and SAME DEAL, owner just acts like a complete dick about it. Totally minimizing how bad the bearings were. Telling me that I must have ran them thru a puddle (when I most definitely did not!!!) and rather than apologizing and trying to do what he could to help me out does the complete opposite and just acts extremely irritated that I was there and tells me that they: re fine and I just need to buy some speed cream to lube them up, which is completely fucked up advice by someone who doesn’t give a shit about actually fixing the problem because there was OBVIOUSLY dirt in them based on how they sounded.
All he did was tell the kid in there with the shades (who is actually pretty legit and the only bright spot in this shop) to sell me some speed cream and walked out of the room making me feel completely unwanted and awkward there when I was hoping to actually get new bearings (for the 3^rd time!!!). Thankfully the kid went out of his way to help me out with putting on the new bearings without charging me the $ 5 labor fee as a small consolation for my bearings getting fucked 3 days into owning them. Not much, but at least it was something, and more than the owner was willing to do. nb
SUMMARY: this guy is only nice to you if you are potentially buying new stuff from him but if you ever have issues with any of your equipment and try to take it back to get it fixed or get discounts on replacement parts even though it was by no fault of your own that the equipment is malfunctioning he will just make you look like the bad guy and just cop an attitude with you and piss you off for the rest of the day like he has to me, TWICE!

Place is pretty whack, the owner wouldn’t let me set up my board when the business was clearly still going be open for another hour.

Dope place to get any skateboard or longboard needs. Has a ton of products at very good prices. The guys there are super helpful and gave me some tips.

Great place; very helpful even to us non traditional skateboarders (longboarders). More power to this business for helping out and reaching out to the community.

Got my board complete with new bearings here. Simple shop, everything you need, and the owner takes care of what you need on the spot. Good place

I liked this shop. I am a newbie skater and was looking to have my longboard run smoother. The owner was really cool, told me ways to make my board smoother. Didn’t pressure me to buy anything, nice vibe. The owner even attached the new wheels and shock pads for me.
BTW, he donates old wheels to kids who need wheels for their boards. I think that says a lot about an owner.

I went here to get my boys some gift certificates so they could put their own boards together for the first time. I know absolutely nothing about skateboards but the owner, Mark, was very helpful getting that set up for me. When we went back for the boards, Brandon helped us and put them together. He’s super friendly and seemed to really know what he was doing. I highly recommend this place. While I can’t say from any experience, their prices seemed very reasonable compared to some of the beach front companies. And I never felt like I was being sold something I didn’t necessarily need.

I looked around and did my homework as I needed a hookup for my longboard that I have– Mark hooked me up with everything I needed. Not to sound like a commercial but all his prices were right on with the net– and he personally took his time and im pumped! coming back and would recommend it if you’re in need
