Richard A Enns, MD

Dr. Richard Enns has retired as of Dec.31, 2013. He was primary care physician for approximately 15 years for my husband and myself. We considered his care excellent. His replacement is Dr. Emmanuel Hausig and we have been seeing him for our medical care in 2014. He seems to be very knowledgeable and caring. He is young and therefore we have great confidence that his medical knowledge is on the cutting edge. I would highly recommend this whole medical office and Memorial Care for your healthcare needs.

Sorry people Dr. Enns has now retired and is sorely missed!

BUNCH OF CRYBABIES ON HERE. Yes you have to wait, yes an appointment is to help expedite the process, however appointments are a suggestion of when you will see the doctor, results will vary daily. dr enns is worth the wait time, he is busy for a reason, need i say more.

Dr. Enns is Great! He even called me once on the phone personally to follow up. His nurse is also very friendly and good as well. His front office staff, however, is far from stellar. I have been a patient for about 1 year. I called today to make an appointment because my back has been killing me, and just wanted to get a referral for a chiropractor. So I called and asked for the soonest appointment. She said it will be about 2 weeks. I told her I just need a referral, I’m not going to take a long time. She said well your since your back has been hurting you for 6 months you can probably wait another 2 weeks. She made me an appointment for more than 3 weeks away. I’m not dealing with BS like this anymore. I called my insurance and changed my PCP immediately.
They are changing computer systems, I understand, but maybe they can stand to change some attitude. Sorry Dr. Enns, but your staff sucks!

Dr Enns has been my primary care physician for more than 20 years and has been my wife’s primary care physician for over 15 years. We would not have continued with him so long if he did not take excellent care of us, which he does! Dr Enns gives you his undivided attention when you are with him and takes all the time needed to properly care for you. I have never felt he was rushed or his attention was elsewhere. Besides being a great physician, he and his staff are all really nice, caring people. I personally highly recommend Dr Enns and his staff.

I contacted Dr. Enn’s office to schedule a physical shortly after getting new insurance in October. I was told that I’d need to change medical groups as they were going to no longer except that group. So I called my insurance and changed groups to the one they preferred.
After waiting over a month for the new group to go into effect, I called to make an appointment for a physical and to get a flu shot. I was told physical appointments were 6 weeks out as they were having problems with their EMR software (like that should be my problem). I was told I could walk in anytime for a flu shot as long as I gave them 10 min. notice.
Today I left work early so I could go get a flu shot. I called when I was 10 min. away to advise them I was coming in. They told me we can’t give you a flu shot because you haven’t seen the Dr. yet. I explained what had been told to me only two days prior and asked them to make an exception since I left work early. The receptionist told me I’m sorry you can go pay for one at the pharmacy. I told her that wasn’t acceptable. She put me on hold for 20 min. and then told me NO again. She said she had called the medical group urgent care and they were aware of my situation, and could give me one. So I should call them.
Well I called and they weren’t aware of any call from the doctors office. They also told me that until I had seen the Dr. they couldn’t get one from them either.
I’m PISSED! I went out of my way to accommodate their request to change groups. The attitude of the office staff SUCKS! Needless to say I called and filed a formal complaint with the insurance company. This is no way to treat any patient. Dr. Enns needs to have a serious meeting with his staff and correct his issues.

This Dr. was recommended to me by a buddy of mine. I happen to be a very picky person when it comes to going to the doctor. Some of the things that irritate me are if a doctor makes you wait a long time when you have an appt. This is probably the only thing about this office I dislike. Dr. Enns is a very nice and caring doctor. He spends time with you and he explains things to you. the nurse is the most caring too. She makes you feel comfortable while you wait for the doctor. I recommend Dr. Enns to be your doctor. In this tough time to find a doctor one needs to count on a medical professional who cares about his patients and not put profit ahead of caring.
