Slowest round of golf I have ever played. Ranger was rude and said it would be 5 hours and I’m stopping after 14^th hole at nearly 5 hours. Should never let this many people on a course and need to space tee times off better. Course is well maintained but way too slow.

Newport Beach, CA

This public track has two courses, The Players and The Classic, as the courses are flat they are good tracks to walk and you will see many people walking but majority take a cart. Price is reasonable and the courses are in good shape, greens could be made faster. They have a nice practice facility but the driving range is off the mats which is typical for a pubic course, they were new as were the range balls and the place is clean. Looks like they keep it in nice shape. Nice putting facility and food is reasonably priced. Green fees about $ 40 during the week. Course plays a lot faster than the other local courses, Rancho San Juan and Costa Mesa.

Played a 4 hour round on a Saturday and the marshal harassed us for slow play! The pro shop staff apologized when we complained after the round. Emailed the GM and he did not. Didn’t even care when I told him we will not be returning.
When a business does not care about its patrons, I do not care to patronize that business.

Costa Mesa, CA

Way overpriced at $ 70+ for a round. The course is almost completely flat with almost zero interesting details. Save your money and play at Costa Mesa for half the price, Rancho San Juaquin or even David Baker.
