Huntington Beach High Schools teenagers are some of the rowdiest I don’t even want to see their dances what a disgrace. They can be way too sexual and a lot of them are involved way too much in drugs. Additionally, their football team needs work most definitely. The parking is inevitably terrible rather it is in the morning or late afternoon their APA program is really their only main good thing…

One of the oldest schools in the OC. Very similar décor as Newport Harbor High with the historical looking and matching bell tower. Rumor has it back in the 1930’s the two high schools were both visible ftom Santa Catalina and ships navigate to their destination.
Beautiful campus, great football field and a good football program. Water Polo and swimming has had better days but there deafly not a bad team. The surf team is really good and from what I understand this school scores pretty good academically. This school has been on the news more then it probably wanted to be. Lots of controversy because of a possible Measle outbreak and rumors of students not wanting to get vaccinated. Also recently a campus lockdown because of an Ex-​Employee that was seen talking to students. I personally B think it’s a shame because this is a really good school. By ty way, my kids go to Newport Harbor High School.

Huntington Beach High School is a great school to attend even though there are almost three thousand kids in attendance. Academics are good but what I can’t get over is how nasty some the administrative staff treats the kids. Jessie at the front desk is fine and willing to help at all times but the attendance and financial office needs some work with their customer service skiils. They are not polite and not very helpful. So difficult for the kids to get things done without the parents calling to defend their kids, How do you expect them to grow when they are limited in getting legitimate things done? There is a give and take in every situation but much discretion is needed in order to have kids to work effectively. Give those kids a break as they are learning to become young adults who will be able to contribute positively in their communities now and in their futures. The examples should be set with the adults first which can trickle down to a young adults in their mist. Such negative behaviors of the adults in their mist does not paint a positive picture in the mind of those teenagers.

Huntington Beach High School is a great school with a beautiful campus in an unbelievable area. Their sports, arts, music, MUN and other programs are also top notch. Not sure what Randy C. is talking about — Huntington Beach just recently won the CIF Championship in football and the awesome stadium is … awesome! As is the Band, Orchestra, Theatre, Dance … Also, please read the other review that Unilocal DIDN’T recommend as it actually has some legitimate criticisms of HBHS and some of its programs. How Unilocal has recommended Randy C’s and not the other kid’s is baffling.
