This forum is a great place to people watch or be the life of the party (the choice is yours). It has proven to be very informative and funny at the same time. It can be easily compared to a hot fudge sundae… cool, warm and sprinkled with a few nuts.

Do you rate a community by stability, access to health care, culture, environment, education, infrastructure? Yes! As of 2013 HB has a population over 197K. Huntington Beach Community Forum (aka HBCF) a Facebook group has over 3.6% of the city’s population as members! That’s pretty impressive! It’s your 24÷7÷365 local access to the latest events, political news & happenings, breaking news of all types; accidents, schools, criminals, home robberies to volunteer information and so much more. With live real time discussions and a community with people who have so much passion for not just their city but each other, is definitely a community I want to not just live in, but participate in. I hope cities across america could look at this ‘Model’ HBCF has built, and realize the benefits of bringing the same to their cities.

The Huntington Beach Community Forum is a group born out of Facebook that is comprised of the concerned citizens of Huntington Beach. They have held City Council/​Attorney candidate Forums and fun social events. The Facebook page is an excellent place to learn about the many different things that are happening in HB. From local emergencies to city politics and school closures, it is a great place to share information and to stay informed. The people that participate are wonderful and I have made many amazing new friends. Definitely recommended!
