HSS

Today I went into HSS to get my daughter a jr. guards sun hat– I wish we could find a size that would fit her head. There a lot of wonderful items and good prices at the store. But I wish they could feed more to the local crowd and not always the travelers on pricing. We still spent over 100 $ of items– but would be great to give some kinda discount to locals!

Place is a rip off. Was forced to buy a tiny bottle of suntan lotion for 10.79 here. Total scam.

Been goin to hss for many years, this place rock, l Love getting my gear there and hang in the boardroom talking about boards with the floor guys. Pesce son and dad are just gold. Thanks for everything!

I give four stars for hss for the selection and surf city vibe. Its big, across the street from the beach, and has a great selection of t’s and other must have tourist crap. Its not cheap, and why would it be?

well i have got to say… that i was wrong. HUNTINGTON SURF AND SPORT is so cool. i used to have a different opinion of them, but having recently gone there a few times, i have found the guys there to be so helpful, and knowledgable, and very cool. they fixed my surfboard for nothing. and now it shreds. i still think they are kinda expensive but thats ok. HUNTINGTON SURF AND SPORT HSS is the place to go for all your surfing needs. we definitly will always go there, from now on. debi

First time in hutington and decided to buy a wetsuit to try out surfing. They failed to mention that the one I was buying would LEAK water inside because it was the bottom of the line stitching! Wth?! Really?!
I tried it out in the water. And I was cold as hell. It’s like I wasn’t wearing anything. What’s the point of spending $ 140 for something useless? Stitches were tearing already after the first 15 min of use and water leaked profusely in the back zipper as well. Clearly a defect!
Went back the next weekend And I asked if I could return it or change it. They were saying no because I wore it outside of the store, so people might get diseases and stuff and they can’t sell it at full price. So your going to sell it back even tho it’s a defect…
And My only option? Buy a new one! Wth?! They sold me a defect! And how am I suppose to know if I’m satisfied with it without trying it on? People try stuff on at the store all the time. What’s the difference?
And Apparently stitches normally comes off according to them?! Don’t know if They’re BSing me since it’s my first wet suit ever.
Never coming Back here!!!
They don’t even know how to compromise with the customer at the very least.

Nit sure if the weekend crowd pissd the staff off or not, but they were totally rude! This is the hss on the corner of pch and main. I asked for help to get an item down and she was totally put off… lady…ITS UR JOB! Anyway, gf wanted the shirt so we endured. Wont go back again. Watch out for the girl with dark hair and a nose loop ring deal.

I was surprised to learn this store is actually HSS. Regardless, it was the Nixon watch display case that caught my eye from outside. I did not really care for any of the watches. There are better Nixon models at the department stores.
My little one was working with two sales associates on making a purchase sticker for her new helmet. The two ladies took at least 15 minutes and pulled out about a dozen stickers. Finally, the little one picked out three pink and purple stickers of a dolphin, hibiscus and a butterfly. The stickers are tough and durable and look pretty nice on the helmet.
My point is. this was a great spot for shopping. The customer service could not be beat!
