Holly Susan Salem, DO

I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Holly Salem several years ago and to have her as my primary care doctor. She is everything you’d want in a doctor — smart, thorough, listens to you, attentive and really knowledgeable. She is also all those things you rarely get in a doctor — you can understand her and she speaks to you like a normal person (not in «doctor» talk), she never rushes you or makes you feel like she doesn’t have time for you, and she is always will take the time to explore whatever issue you are coming in with.
Trust me, I am picky. Between all the various doctors I’ve had throughout my life as well as the many my son has had (he has special needs and requires many other specialty doctors), I’ve seen a lot of mediocre doctors (and some just plain crappy ones). But this is the exact opposite of Dr. Salem. She is top notch… and I’d say is the perfect blend of being a great doctor and also being personable and approachable.

Dr Salem is very thorough, really listens and is very kind. I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and moved on to specialists in oncology and surgery. Dr Salem still checked in to make sure everything was going well. I would recommend her to anyone. The medical staff (nurses, med assistants, and nurse practitioner –Edith) have always been great.

Dr. Salem listens. I have had several family doctors in the past 30 years. Dr. Salem is caring, attentive and is a good listener. She takes time with you. I have never felt rushed. I would recommend her as a primary care doctor to anyone who is looking for a caring and attentive person.

Dr. Salem is great she is my primary doctor. She is very nice, friendly and down to earth. She made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions and gave me suggestions. She’s busy and not always available, but she’s great. I would recommend her to anyone.
The front office staff is ok. There is one rude old lady but hey.

I am very happy to be switching away from this non — responsive Doctor, her team and Heathercare Partners. She does not follow through with orders by out of network Doctors. Her team promises to call you back and never does. I have been waiting since August for a very important test that was requested by a Specialist and Dr Salem has yet to schedule or follow-​up on it. I could go on and on as to why you should not make the mistake I did 2 years ago. Excited to be changing to a highly respected local Doctor!

Dr. Salem is a wonderful doctor. She is very patient and listens to everything. She took the time to go over all my labs with me, explaining everything and made sure I understood everything she was saying. She’s very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I have seen many doctors over the years and Dr. Salem is by far my favorite.
