Green Tree Salon

I have been going to Sonia since before I was born (she has been my grandma’s, mom’s, and aunt’s hair stylist…). She is WONDERFUL!
As a matter of fact, all of the stylists are very knowledgable and have been in the «hair business» for 10+ years each (This includes the owner and her husband!!!)
I have done about a few thousand different things to my hair and I have always ran back to Sonia to fix my silly mistakes. I now haven’t touched my own hair in over two years (23 years in the process…) and it’s the color I want, the length I want, and it’s just as healthy as it was before I started messing with it. Thanks to SONIA!!!
The salon is small, but they pack an army of great people into their four-​chair space.

I decided to give Maria (the owner) a try after my mom had gone to her for highlights and a cut. My mom’s hair looked pretty good and since the salon is near my house I thought hey, why not. Well, I’ll tell you why not. Maria gave me the exact same haircut I already had, despite telling her that my layers weren’t blended enough. She also had another client come in before I was done, so she had me sit under the hair dryer with my long wet hair while she put color in someone else’s hair (I can’t stand when stylists do this). After drying and curling a couple pieces of my hair I told her that I would just do it myself at home (wasn’t feeling the curls she gave me). Rather than straighten the two pieces she did do she had me pay at the counter, and I left the salon with flat straight hair and two curled pieces.
Go see Robin at The Vault in HB… costs more but worth it!
