Coolcuts

Awful. I brought my kids here today for a 1pm appointment. Place was packed and the woman at the front said they would get to me when they could. They called us back about 20 minutes later. My daughter wanted her hair flat ironed. I was told that they could do it and they would have to charge but it won’t look goo because their flat iron doesn’t work very well. She said, «Can’t you just style it yourself at home?» Are you serious!!! We walked out.

Tawny and Charlene always give me an amazing haircut whenever I come in. Tawny deals more with the razor type of cuts and Charlene works more with the scissors and styling when I want to keep my hair on the longer side. I always make sure to bring in pictures of what I’m looking for and they’re good at following it. They talk it out and try to explain what I want to make sure they understood what it is that I want. They are all about customer satisfaction and if I don’t like my cut, they let me come in after a couple weeks to get it retouched.

This review has been long overdue! I love coming to get my haircut from Charlene after all these years! I’m trying to dig up all my photos of my haircuts but that will take awhile… for now, I posted the ones I did find. I’ve had all sorts of hair styles done by Charlene (from trims, to layers, to short hair, to long hair, to even helping me put in my fake eyelashes!). I remember her saying before that she’s gone to conventions to learn new hair styles to stay up-​to-​date, which is awesome to hear.
I’m always nervous about getting my hair done, so I bring in pictures of what I want. I’m always happy with the results! That’s why I keep coming back! I always enjoy Tawny’s company as well. She only cuts men’s hair but is still very sociable to me. They are nothing but nice and friendly.
They welcome walk-​ins, but I always call ahead just to be sure they have time to accommodate me.
Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your dogs! Okay, maybe not your dogs for haircuts but they do love dogs!

Came back for a full haircut from Charlene and my hair came out AMAZING! She did a great job especially with me coming in feeling a little nervous about cutting my hair short. I will definitely be coming back

This place is absolutely terrible. They don’t listen to the customer on how they want their cut and I will never go back! The salon was messy and looked run down. They don’t understand English too well either even though you explain the exact cut you want. This is takes that cake as the worst ever!!!

Iv been going here for two yrs and Charlene is the best hairdresser iv ever been to and they are all very friendly and parking not a problem:)

This place is a joke. I took my three girls in to get their hair cut… simple trims straight across the back… no layering, no styling, and one of my daughters (who is only 2) only got her bangs trimmed. didn’t even touch the back of her hair. This place charged me $ 20 per kid. I could see if they had to actually style the kids hair or did layers or thinned out thick hair, but it was a simple trim!

I’ve been going to Coolcuts ever since they opened, back in the 90s. Tawny and Charlene have both cut my hair over the years and give good suggestions to frame my face best. They also understand how to best present my dry black asian hair. I will be going to them so long as they are there. If you want a style, they can emulate it. Provide a sample picture of what you’re going for, and they will do what they can to make it work for you. If you like conversation, they’re there to style hair and talk.
