Celinder’s Glass Design

I have sold custom windows & doors for 40+ years now and when I come upon an artisan as good as Mary Ann, I’m smart enough to stick with it.
I have relied upon Celinder’s Glass for close to ten years now. I have referred her to my customers as well as purchasing glass from her, and displaying her art in our showroom. Her attention to detail is second to none. She is extremely customer service oriented and have never had even one complaint. My overall experience is having customers call me to thank me for the referral & rave about the overall experience.
From design, to execution this company is a dream to deal with.
I wish every vendor/​artisan that I dealt with was like her!

Buyer beware of unprofessional business practices and lack of creativity. Owner made an affordable quote, and required a $ 400 deposit to start the project. However, the price went up as the design was developed. I gave plenty of photos and color schemes, to give her an idea, but her designs needed constant adjustment. For example, I requested a country cottage in the scene and she came back with a rectangle and two squares in it for windows! Frustrated with the lack of understanding, child-​like designs, complaints that it was getting too hard, and hints of raising the price a third time, I threw in the towel to cancel. We had also discussed her cancellation policy at the start. She stated she would only retain a $ 175 fee for the development of a transom if we decided to cancel. When we couldn’t get the transom right, we cancelled. She refused to return the balance, keeping the entire $ 400 deposit because of «all the work» she put into it.

Mary Ann is a true artist. She has an eye for the limits of the medium of stained glass and uses her talents to draw the best things from it. I am consistently amazed by Maryann’s work. She works with her clients to make a piece of art the expresses the dreams, desires, and beliefs of her clients. What she does is truly amazing.

As a window and door guy, I refer Mary Ann whenever I see a drab door or window. I have had numerous calls back from customers saying how happy they are. She is truly an artist.

Mary Ann is a real artist when it comes to crafting the most beautiful unique images for windows. It brightens up any room, and the sun shine coming through adds another layer of beauty to that room. Highly recommend talking to her for ideas on your windows.

Mary Ann’s stained glass artwork is amazing; online photos give you a rough sense but really don’t do it justice. We commissioned her to do two pieces – one for the front door and one for a bathroom window. I really liked that she took the time to show us photos of her past work, thoroughly discuss ideas for the design, and bring us sketches and watercolors before starting the glass work. She also helped arrange the installation using experienced contractors that she’s worked with before. We’re so happy with the results, and would gladly work with her again!
