Brazilian Bites is just what it claims to be — they sell authentic Brazilian treats. We had the Coxinha and Empanadas and an Acai for something sweet to finish. This place is the real deal according to my Brazilian friends!

If you’ve never had real authentic acaį before, you’ve got to check this place out. Really cute, cozy small shop. Paulo was very informative of their process in making the acai(which I truly enjoyed). I’m very particular about acai and the freshness of acai bowls. This place does not add extra sugar or juices like other places. Natural acai is not sweet so this is key! By far the best acai I’ve ever had… ever. It’s easy to pass by, but I assure you to go in and chat it up! Thank you Paulo! We will definitely be driving all the way from San Francisco down just for your authentic bowls!

I was inebriated. I remember the server being California hot! The service was fast and I must have had at least 6 veggie empanadas covered in Sriracha(the cute California guy made sure I had my own bottle) Beach vibes up 100%(That’s Jamaican for go there it’s great!)

Amazing late night weekend gyros and friendly staff. Owner keeps the late night crowds calm, happy and well fed. During the week the acai is on point. Great taste and texture. The brazilian«bites» are fresh and delicious. Definitly a place to check out.

Every time I’ve been by here has been excellent. Bomb food and great service. And by far the best açai in town. Gotta try the Guaraná soda too, it’s primo

As a regular to the downtown Huntington Beach area, I like to try just about everything there is going on. I’ve been here about a dozen times now and had a variety of what they offer so it’s time to offer up my opinion There are two other bowl/smoothie places in the local area and this one has become my favorite. Not only do they have the best acai but they also have an awesome selection of little munchibles. The other plus is they are open late Fri & Sat nights! They open at 11am so it’s better for the late risers than the early risers looking to start the day off with a bang. The folks are friendly and talkative with their customers which I like. If you’re into acai, give this place a try!

Come here for the Acai bowls they are the best ive tried so far! Ive had acai bowls at nekter, juice bars, jamba juice, etc… but this place has a real authentic taste. The prices are reasonable too. Great place for a simple to go breakfast.

This is a great place for a small bite when you’re hanging out around Huntington Beach… At $ 14 for 4 different empanadas it was higher than I was expecting or hoping, but at least they have outdoor seating… Good overall but not mouthwatering

I LOVETHISPLACE! I’m Brazilian and live close by, I am thrilled they’re here. The place is super clean, it smells great and made fresh. Brings back awesome memories. Its reasonably priced when you take in consideration the time it takes to prepare homemade food. Whole and good ingredients are expensive. The owners are passionate about what they do they put a lot of pride and love into their cooking. BRAZILIANBITESAREGREAT!

Came here for some refreshing snacks. Did not disappoint! The acai bowl was delicious and refreshing. I also got the hearts of palm empanada which was delicious as well. The filling was hearts of palm with some tomato and peas. Super friendly customer service as well :)

If you’re looking for the real deal when it comes to açai bowls this is the place to go. Best açai bowl around town no doubts. Paulo the owner is a great old school surfer, he’ll keep you entertained.

I came all the way here since the place I like with coxinha never has them. I got the coxinha with cream cheese inside. It’s way bigger than the normal coxinha I get. It’s so good but a bit pricey at 3.50 a piece. I also got the beef pastry which was okay it was beef with some olive mixture inside. Location is okay I like it’s alternative to a place to get my coxinha I love. Haven’t tried acai bowls yet maybe next time.

First timer here and first off I would like to say that Paolo is awesome! I love being served by those who have a great attitude. I love his enthusiasm of trying to bring a taste of Brazil here and hope all the success for his business. I got the acai bowl and it was good, just wish there were more options unless I didn’t ask enough questions :(. He let me get a taste of fresh cheese bread which was nice of him, but I thought it was ok. If I’m around the area again, I’ll try more of his pastries :)

As a self-proclaimed acai bowl connoisseur, I came here to try out the acai bowl after a recommendation from a coworker. I was not disappointed. It tastes purer than any than any acai I’ve had before. The granola is also some of the best that I’ve had. Paulo, who runs the place, is also a super friendly guy who provides great service. If you’re not in the mood for acai, try out some of his other tasty treats. The gluten-free cheese bread is ridiculous.

This is the best place near the beach. The cheese bread is always fresh. The coxinhas with cream is delicious! Whether of not you have tried Brazilian street food, you should try this place!

Its Two Star Tuesday again! !! However, this one I share w/much chagrin. I really wanted to like this new place on Main St in DT Huntington Beach. However, the high prices and average to bad quality of the food, made it earn my Tuesday tagline. I ordered a coxinha(potato cheese ball), beef empada(fried pastry just like an empañada), and a passion fruit mousse. Each item was $ 3.50. The potato cheese ball was OK. I gave my friend a bite, and she didn’t care for it much. But at $ 3.50 it was 3X the price of Portos, and it didn’t taste as good. Secondly, the empada was not very good. It tasted odd and it was small for the price. I threw most of it away. Lastly, the mousse was not good either. It wasn’t cold, and the passion fruit was too tart. All items: 2 Stars. The owner was super nice. Nonetheless, he wasn’t open for a good part of Tue Night Street Fair. I had to drop by a couple of times before he returned: 3 Stars. The ambiance is a little hole in the wall: 3 Stars. I have been to Brazil before, and this type of food is street food. It should be hearty and inexpensive. BB’s food was neither, and so I will not be returning. There is already enough mediocre, overpriced food in DTHB. We don’t need another.
