I dropped off a down comforter on Sat. to be washed, was told it would be ready Tues. When I went in Tues. night to pick it up, I was told there was an «accident»… The owner had given my comforter to another customer. I needed to pry the story out of the woman, that my comforter had been returned by the customer who brought it home thinking it was his. She was going to clean it again for me. I was pretty surprised by this situation, and asked if I was still going to be charged the full $ 30 charge. She simply nodded and said yes. Not sure if it was a question of there being a language barrier, I figured I’d wait to see what they charged when I got there Thursday. She charged me $ 30 without a flinch. Now I see they were even running a 20% off deal, and feel even worse about this first, and last encounter I’ve had with this place of business. Classy thing to do would’ve been to knock a couple of bucks off, in acknowledgement of their foul up. Nothing. Just empty apology.

I have been getting my clothes and drapes dry cleaned here for two years now. I am very satisfied with the quality of work and service. My clothes always come out clean and meticulously hung. The owners and staff are very courteous, friendly, and nice. And although I don’t expect it, it is additionally nice that they do pick up and delivery, and accommodate customers’ schedules by opening on even Sundays.

This place is super convenient to the Harbor, but you cannot count on their service. They ruined two dresses — I think they use their dry cleaning fluid too many times before changing it as my white clothes ended up with a dingy gray tone.

I was very disappointed with their prices. It was so expensive just to have a basic skirt cleaned ($ 10.00)! It didn’t even have any stains on it. Just a plain, black, cotton skirt with a waist tie. I’ve been to other dry cleaners that have charged me $ 4.00 but went to this place since I was in the area. It was $ 15.00 for me to have 1 blouse and 1 skirt cleaned! Outrageous! Initially, the skirt was going to be $ 6.00 but the lady said it costs more because they had to «hand press it». I would have done that myself had I known they would charge me an extra $ 4.00!
Also, I waited for 15 minutes to get my 2 items. There was only 1 lady working at 5:30pm and she apparently LOST a man’s dry cleaning! She had to go 1 by 1 through all of the clothes to find his.
I won’t be returning to Boardwalk Cleaners based off this experience. :(

Very friendly local establishment and they do good work. Hours are great. The prices can be a bit high though.

This is a full-​service cleaners serving primarily the Huntington Harbour residential neighborhood. Their hours are extended and convenient, service is courteous, and they will give special attention to problem cleaning tasks brought to their attention. I’ve had a few stains on shirts that they haven’t been able to get out, and there’s always a tag on any such garment explaining that they tried but it couldn’t be removed without damaging the garment. This is a pleasant place to do business.

I would definitely NOT go back. I use to take my dry cleaning there so I thought I would go there to get my rug cleaned. at first I called to see how much it would cost, the owner a woman, said it was $ 1.25 a sq.ft. & Iwould have it back in a week she said. Week went by and I picked up my rug. not only was it more money then I was previously told but my rug smelled horrible like wet stinky dog… which btw no dog was even near it and it wasn’t clean either. so I left It there to be recleaned. I call after a week because it’s suppose to be ready and it wasn’t. the owner said another week. finally went back to pick up again but this time they snagged the rug (it’s a wool looped rug from pottery barn kids) in several spots AND it was still dirty!!! you would have thought I brought this rug in with tire marks on it! it wasn’t very dirty when I brought it in but if I pay for something, I want it done right. I then asked the owner for a refund because I was done!!! he said (husband & wife own it) well let me chat with carpet people that cleaned it and see what they say. I told him forget it, I had been patient enough. so I still have my rug thats still not 100% cleaned and I’m out the $. Find another dry cleaner, don’t even consider this one!!!
HORRIBLE!

This place is excellent! I have worked as a dry cleaner before, so I know the process. Some stains are simply impossible to remove without damaging the garment. However, I have brought in such a wide variety of near impossible jobs, and they have done them all for me – including cleaning a designer dress that had an alcohol stain on it… from a whole YEAR before that. Their alterations are top notch as well, and the owners are really friendly. Everyone I know loves going here!
There was only one time I had a problem – the suit I dropped off wasn’t ready on the Saturday when it was supposed to be. However the owner explained to me that they had a power failure earlier (something I wouldn’t know because I don’t live in the same area, I just came here because it’s by my niece’s kindergarten and I take her to school) and they had to get a generator so they were behind. He rushed my order and had it ready an hour later, and everything was okay. Definitely recommend Boardwalk Cleaners!

Great service! They always address me by name and have a cheerful attitude. Clothing wise, I’ve never had problems with lateness or inability to get my clothes the way I want it. However, once they did lose a t-​shirt and though it wasn’t a big deal, they actually went and bought me that same shirt, brand new! The price is decent, better than most dry cleaners. I recommend this place.

This place honestly dosent even deserve one star. I wish we could give zero stars or in this case negative stars.
I had asked for a DVF blouse to be cleaned because I had spilled a little food on it and on the blouse there were four white spots on it. Simple job. But no, this place couldn’t even do that. I went to pick it up today and it looked the same as when I dropped it off! So much so that I even asked the man «did you even wash this?» He suddenly got all defensive and upset that I would even dare ask such a question. I showed him the spots yet he STILL kept saying they washed, cleaned and steamed my top. My word of advice. save yourself the trouble, time and effort and just take your clothing to a different place. This place is horrendous in service all together.
