After parking in the free lot, follow the sign/​arrow onto a gravel path – be on the lookout for rattlesnakes and copperheads – and after 300 yards you’ll be greeted by the stunning views at Hawn’s Overlook.
The display in the center of the overlook identifies Tussey Mountain, Terrace Mountain, Baker’s Hollow, Snyder’s Run Boat Launch, and more.
When visiting Hawn’s Overlook be sure not to miss another fantastic vista point – the Ridenour Overlook – a mere 300 yards away. Ridenour Overlook is located adjacent to the parking lot.
