This review is long overdue. I wish I had pictures of what this company did to our yard. I contacted Andrew, the owner to come out. It was like pulling teeth just to schedule a consultation. He comes out, quotes me ‚$ 850 to plant flowers and mulch. I’m desperate because this is the beginning of spring and I have family coming to stay. So he gets the job. I can’t have a bald yard and we’re sick of being,”THAT HOUSE” on the block. The workers come out, put down the mulch and flowers. It looks great, for about 5 – 6 days. Then weeds start coming through. ALOT of weeds. We called Andrew, he says he’ll come right out to see what we’re talking about. He then leaves me a message days later telling us to ‚”just pull up the weeds”, that we have seedlings coming through. Ok fair enough. We pull up the initial weeds and they just keep coming. Then the flowers die. Seems he planted the wrong kind for the beginning of spring. Did I mention I asked him for only 3 colors of flowers? Well I guess he heard 6. Then grass began to grow in over the mulch and flowers. It just got worse and worse. When I called him to complain, he didn’t care. He was already paid. By the way, he made it very clear to me that he only accepts cash. Now I see why. You’ve been warned. Need a landscaper? Call Apeldorn Landscaping, they’re professional and fair.

I’m in NYC, but my parents use Green Hills Contracting at their home in PA. They love it so much, I had to Unilocal it! Andrew and his team are professional and hardworking. They charge way less than my parent’s previous landscapers, and maintain very high standards for their work. A few years ago, they redid my dad’s favorite spot — the patio — and now he loves it even more!
