My friends and I were happily pleased with the food and service when we ate dessert here the other night. Our waitress was very friendly and patient.

On a whim, we stopped by Bertucci’s on County Line Road. The place smelled wonderfully with the wood burning brick pizza oven spreading the homely smell of fire and cooking food. The restaurant felt nice and welcoming. The waitress Britney was a delight, super helpful and upbeat. The manager stopped by our table a few times to check on our experience. He even brought a complimentary grilled vegetable appetizer which was delicious. We ordered the 3-courses-for-$ 19.99 meal. The minestrone soup was lovely, so was the salad. The pizza was wonderful. But problems arose with my pasta jambalaya entrée. It was spiced beyond reason without any other flavor. The chicken in the jambalaya was the only redeeming component. The sausage in the dish tasted off, like it went bad, and the entire dish was affected to the point of becoming inedible. It is a common restaurant trick to over-spice rotting food to cover the taste. It did not work this time. The dessert was another disappointment. The tiramisu was not its usual sweet and creamy self, but, rather, bitter and tart-ish. Maybe the mascarpone went bad, maybe the eggs in it. The tiramisu did not taste right. The 5-layer chocolate cake was dense and tasted more like baking soda than chocolate. What made it all worse for me personally is that after this giant letdown of a meal(my only meal of the day), i had symptoms of a food poisoning. I was up half the night cursing my visit to this restaurant. I was fed bad food and paid for it. Let this be a cautionary tale for you.

Not too thrilled to be calling for take out at 10:30& being told they’re closed when the website says 11:00 on a Friday night. Disappointed.

Thanks, Bertucci’s, for saving me from murdering my parents! Stopped in tonight for dinner after hours of looking at houses with my 85 years-old parents(moving them in with me to keep them safe). They were ‘Hangry’ and I was exhausted by all of their complaints. Restrained myself from strangling them as they bickered over what they wanted to drink and pretended not to hear our waiter Jerry. He was so kind and went out of his way to patiently explain sangria versus ‘fruity-wine’ more than once. Kept them happy with multiple baskets of rolls. Ignored them splitting a side salad, which in actuality was a great portion size! Brought their entrees steaming hot and didn’t miss a beat when my boyfriend surprised us by showing up and proceeded to order another entrée, late to the meal. Lastly, when my mom’s scampi wasn’t as soupy as she wanted, asked for a bit more sauce and the Steve, the culinary manager brought it out himself to our table. Thanks for keeping me sane. I know it’s a chain and the food may not be the most creative or original, but it’s always good and consistently served well. Thanks again to Jerry and everyone who made my night.

This is the worst experience I have ever had, my server«rose«spilled wine all over my new shirt. The manager“ken» seamed completely not concerned. Then she took my silverware and my glass of water without bringing me a replacement so my appetizer got coled. After taking one dollar off the bill Ken did not seam to care about anything that transpired this night. When I come back in to talk to Pablo maybe he will care more. If not him then maybe cooperate will care. Food sucked. Service sucked. Never come here.

As a neighborhood restaurant we eat there at least once every two weeks. The place is clean the service is good and the salmon and crab cakes are great. The manager comes over and makes sure that your meal and service is great. Very good for a neighborhood eateries.

Very friendly staff. Hands on management. Good variety of food. The fresh baked rolls are nothing short of amazing. I’m lucky to have a great employer who pays me well enough that I can eat here a couple times a month.

As a person who had never heard of this place before I visited the Philadelphia area. I’m so glad they don’t have these where I’m from. The food had no taste and everything was over priced. I’m still dumbfounded on this place is so popular.

Came into Bertucci’s last night with some tempered expectations. On one hand, I knew this was a chain, and having an anti-chain bias, I was not expecting much. Even the cheesecake factory, the holy grail of chains as far as I’m concerned, can be a bit disappointing. Well, the food was just OK. It was definitely decent, but really did not wow me. The service was very good, which I did appreciate. One of out items was undercooked, and the server handled it very well, about as good as you could hope when this kind of thing happens. That being said, it did tarnish the experience a bit. The menu is funny. They mention the fact that they bake most of their food in their brick oven like 1000 times. Like I wonder of the brick oven thing is that serious of a selling point. Half of the names of the items in the menu are«Brick Oven ____» and then the other half remind you that they use the brick oven to make whatever it is in the description, even on items that make you scratch your head. Brick oven baked meatballs? Yeah that is lost on me. Especially when the brick oven fails to cook all the way through.

This place hasn’t changed one bit in over two decades, yet it still feels modern, clean, and fresh. Bertucci’s has for sure stood the test of time, and so has its food. I haven’t been here in years, but recently came back for lunch when I was in the area with my family. The look of the inside is like a factory, but in a really nice way. I’m almost positive they haven’t touched up the place in years, but it looks really good. I feel like their menu is a tad bit small, and could use and expansion, as I found when I was looking for food tough. I ordered the Sautéed Chicken Piccata; the lunch portion isn’t very big at all, but the chicken was very good. The breading on the chicken is great, and I’m not exactly sure what it is, but it’s a very unique type of crust. It came with two chicken breasts, which I though were small, but I guess that’s what I lunch portion is. The pasta was perfectly cooked, I just wish it had more sauce on the dish to give it more flavor. The lunch came with a salad for the table which was good too, very clean, simple, and fresh. I also tried some Margarita Pizza, which was also good, but a bit bread-y for my tastes. Our waitress was very nice, and I wish more people had her attitude. I don’t come to this area often now, but when I do come back, I’ll come to Bertucci’s. Food(B), Pricing(C-), Atmosphere(B+), Service(B)

I have mixed feelings about this place. Three weeks ago I would have given it 4 stars, but last night I would give it 2. Three weeks ago, on a Tuesday night around 7:30, we arrived to Bertucci’s and it was fairly quiet. We were seated right away and had a great waitress. She was very attentive, making sure our glasses were always full, that we always had bread, and got us our food very quickly. Our entrees were delicious and dessert was amazing, It was a big, gooey chocolate chip cookie that was piping hot and had a scoop of ice cream on it. Our waitress even gave us a bag of rolls to go with out take out boxes, without me even asking her to. I was very pleased and had never had such a good experience at Bertucci’s before. Last night’s experience was different. They were busy, but I don’t think that should be an excuse. The waitress didn’t pay much attention to us after giving us bread. We noticed that the people next to us go their food before us even though they sat down after we ordered ours and then they brought the wrong food over. Food was fine, until we got to dessert. This time there was 3 small cookies instead of one, the cookies were hard and I think old, not very warm. Not at all like what we had earlier in the month. There is a reason why we barely visited this restaurant in the past and our visit last night reminded me why.

We’ve eaten at Bertucci’s several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is always very friendly and we’re usually seated immediately. The food is all great, especially the custom and somewhat exotic pizzas. The traditional italian dishes like spaghetti with meatballs are excellent as well. The free bread and oil with ground peppers in it is super tasty and a great way to work up an appetite. The place is very clean and I like the open-kitchen feel. We’ve also ordered take-out a couple times and the food was just as good. What I like most about Bertucci’s is that they really fill a void in the community between cheap diners and expensive high-end restaurants. A dinner for two usually costs us about $ 45 after tip if we order an appetizer or a dessert.

I love brick oven pizza and Bertuccis is no exception! We got the white mushroom and margherita and they were both amazing. Thin crust and well done! The regular was perfect for two people while the large you could def save some leftovers. I also split a Caesar salad which was my favorite part of the meal! Although just a salad, it was literally the best I’ve had. The piccolo tiramisu was also a nice treat at the end :) Our waitress was very attentive and got everything right! She was always refilling our drinks and on top of everything.

I like the pizza at Bertucci’s. In fact, I’ve always like the pizza at Bertucci’s. As the franchise has matured over the years you can tell the toll it’s taken on the overall quality. It used to be the best pizza I ever had(back in 1997 or whenever Ok, Computer by Radiohead came out). We got two pizzas– one was the Sporgie(sausage and cheese and ricotta) and the other was a deluxe with everything but the kitchen sink– or is that cucina sink? The pizzas were crispy and soft– charred but still wheat and malt tasting. The toppings were fresh and sauce– YES– the sauce– was jackpot. Either way, although the quality has dropped some bit since I last remembered it back in the 90’s– it hasn’t fallen off the map. I still consider it a nice pizza option in surburbia where good pizza, for one reason or another, ceases to exist. I still prefer Anthony’s Coal Fire in Horsham. However, in case you were wondering I can confidently suggest that Bertucci’s is running in lane 2 and doing so awfully fast. It won’t catch up to Tony but it’s close– Lost by a nose in a photo finish…

I give it 4 stars because this is the ONLY chain Italian restaurant my wife can get me to go to. I really enjoy the taste of the various foods cooked in the brick oven. They also have a decent beer selection and seasonal drafts.

The atmosphere and service was great. The food is so-so. I normally do not go to chain restaurants and this is why. You can go to a small, family owned italian restaurant and get much better food for the same price.
