The Meadows Bed & Biscuit At Lake Norman

My dog trainer recommended that I use Meadows B&B to help socialize my labradoodle puppy, JoJo. I have used Meadows several times now for daycare and my puppy just loves this place! Everyone who works here is just wonderful with her, and I couldn’t be happier to have found a place that I trust to give her loving care. JoJo always comes home tired and happy!
Meadows has both morning and afternoon group playtimes, as well as a brief time in the bone-​shaped pool. During off-​times, they are in cages in one of three rooms — with the small, medium, or large dogs. But they always have your pup’s comfort in mind, and the cages are quite large.
They have cameras set up in the play rooms and yards so you can watch your pup at play. The only bad thing is that the videos are small and quite grainy, and the iPhone app (offered through Online Doggy) charges a subscription fee, so I’ve never used it.
For anyone considering Meadows for daycare, here are a few points:
1) Your puppy must have all shots and be spayed or neutered before they can stay here.
2) Even if your vet recommends bordatella only once a year, Meadows REQUIRES it every six months. That’s a bummer to me (and the only reason for my four-​star rating), because I trust my vet more on this but I have to comply if I want to keep bringing her here.
3) Meadows gives you your first visit for free as a trial. If your pup behaves, he or she will be welcomed back.
4) The cost for daycare is $ 27/​day. They even give you a frequent user card so after your 6^th visit, the next one is free. What a great deal!
5) Drop off is after 7am, but they will accommodate early drop offs on request. Pick ups are before 7pm.
I definitely recommend Meadows for your daycare needs. Your pup will thank you for it!
