They are really well set up and the staff is very friendly. The cost of the items were a little steep. Although the price you pay for the item does include every thing(studio time, firing, paint, etc). But I was a little disappointed how much my son and I paid for just one item.

I recently went there with my two children, the place is laid out nice and all the paint, paint brushes and other utensils are neat and easy to use. Just three stars because the prices are extremely high! We got two coffee mugs $ 67.00

I was visiting my sister in NC and she says to me. lets take Waylon(my dog) to paint pottery. So we went. totally unsure if he would even sit still long enough to get a decent paw print onto the ceramic bowl i had chosen. the employee came over and put some of the blue paint i picked out onto a piece of plastic and reached for his paw. he looked at me as if to ask«is this ok?».and just went with it. it was as if he had done this before and new the drill, very hilarious to me. i was able to get four really cute prints around the outside of the bowl, and then he got his paw cleaned up and the rest of the time there was just chilling out for him! I picked out another shade of blue and one brown and i set out to make this new water bowl for him a beautiful peice of art work. well i dont know if i really did. but it looks pretty cute. the only bummer is that i have to wait the two weeks for it to get fired and then my sister will pick it up and mail it to me here in FL. the place is clean, and cheery. super fun and inexpensive. LOTS of projects to choose from line the walls and theres a station with alllll the paints and stencils and stamps you could ever imagine wanting to use. the staff is friendly and you can also bring your own drinks there. pretty nifty. i will mention that the store had a sweet«mascot» doggy. just walking around not bothering anyone at all. i would like to extend an apology since my 17lb chihuahua mix lost his mind and barked angrily. i know my sister and her son go here often and i might come again when im in town the next time, cant wait to see the finished bowl for my pooch!

This place was pretty awesome. Me and the kid had a great time. Sooo many options to choose from, it was really hard to pick one. I was actually a little sticker shocked by the prices but this was a first time for me at this kinda place so I’m guessing it’s average prices(see my pics) They definitely have some big pieces to choose if you want a big project. Lots of colors, sponges and stencils to paint with. A small kiddie area and they keep a movie playing(Frozen — yeah!) and bonus perks for having an espresso bar. Those prices are a little high though compared to Starbucks or equivalent. They offer some good deals to VIP members but I wish they offered them to regular people too. That being said… check out amazon/daily living/groupon for deals. Employees were super nice and helpful too.

we had a great time painting there. The selection is great, and the staff is super-friendly and helpful. The only downside was the reeeeaally high prices!(I mean, my little, 4-inch ring holder was $ 17!!) Our ‘living social deal’ helped a bit.

This place was great! I took my two year old there to make a coffee mug for her grandpa. Although it was a bit crowded(week before Christmas), the staff was super friendly and helpful. It’s really easy and well laid out. Great for kids or adults. I will definitely be going back again.

This is my favorite place to go unwind and paint… good for all ages and skill levels, lots of stamps, stencils, idea books, and figurines for novice painters, tons of plates, bowls, platters etc for the more experienced or adventurous.

The owners are great people with patience and excitement for their business you don’t find many places. A great place for kids of all ages 2 – 80. Take your time and remember to make something for mom!

Bright but cluttered yet welcoming. Friendly staff. Lots of pieces to choose and paint. Lots of fun for kids and adults but be warned, it gets kinda addicting. They take extra care when firing your pieces and make sure the finished product is as beautiful as possible(regardless of the artist’s ‘D’oh!’ moments.) Great ideas for housewarming, commemorative bday and grandparent gifts.

You know, sometimes you crave food and you just have to go to your favorite place to get that food. Well sometimes I just have a craving to be creative and paint some pottery. Megart is the place where you can quench your creativity craving. I have been here once and painted two items and will be coming back when that craving hits me again. Just looking around the shop you get so many ideas for things you can do, I will definitely be coming back to paint things to give as gifts. The only thing is you can get carried away and spend ALOT here. The pieces are expensive but I believe you are just paying for the experience.

A local hangout for the locals. Great place to get inspired and overcome some inhibitions. Go! Do! Paint! Coffee creations are very cool or hot. Gamma is always working. Watch out for quiet time during Summer camps. it ain’t gonna happen. Come Friday nights, BYOB and think about painting or come Friday nights drink coffe and actually paint. Be a VIP and punch that card.

Great place for teens and adults! My 15 year old daughter and her friend had a really fun evening here, produced some awesome artwork and enjoyed a safe evening. The people are really nice and helpful too. When I went to pick up her completed work, the young woman working was very polite and nice. I plan to go back with some friends!

Do you remember art time when you were in grade school? A visit to this store will have you feeling like its time for art all over again. The concept is simple. You purchase unfinished pottery in whatever shape strikes a chord with you. Then you sit at a table and stencil on designs and paint the pottery. The shop will fire the piece in a kiln and voila a week later you have a hand crafted piece of pottery with sentimental value. This place is wonderful for kids’ birthday parties. When you go, take along a child and you will get to observe how someone who is innocent and carefree sees the world. The experience is topped off as a Kodak moment when the child finishes their masterpiece, turns to you and says, «I made this for you.» Awwwwwwwww! I like this place because it provides a venue to have quality bonding time with an activity that promotes artistic creativity.
