Shiner’s Carwash Center

Went through the Touch-​free Car Wash (bay on the left). My car is less than 2 months old, and stays in the garage… I just had a little residue from the recent rain/​highway driving. The car wash left my car WORSE than when I came in. Soap residue and streaks. I could write my name in the dried soap afterwards. Called their number and left a message, no return. This is an $ 8 dollar wash. Most drive through washes are $ 6. Went back today to ask the attendant for my money back. Wrote my name on my car for him. Showed him the photos I took of my car right after the wash. He asked for my receipt (a receipt was never printed for me — maybe it was out of paper?). I told him I could show him my card statement. This old man was rude and kept trying to tell me that the Touch-​free was for cars that were… get this, «less dirty» than mine. What?!? My car had rain spots on it before, and came out with a cloudy film on it. I told him that it’s dishonest to charge people $ 8 bucks to make their car DIRTIER than when it was brought in. Next time I’ll just stick to the self service bays… or go elsewhere.

Get in, and get out. No waxing or you’ll get run off by an old curmudgeon!
