Popeye’s

This is a high traffic store and the expertise of their staff shows, It gets CRAZY busy around dinner time, but these folks are prepared. They have tons of chicken and fixin’s prepared and although the line is long in the dining room and the cars wrap around the building, they’re stuffing boxes, nabbing sides, and frying chicken at a pace. Sure, with 12 people ahead of you, you’re going to wait, but watching this well oiled machine of a store is kind of mesmerizing. Way to go.
The chicken and sides are exactly on spec for the chain, meaning they are tasty. Nom. The dining room is clean. What more can you ask for, especially for a place that mainly seems to make the most of their money from carry-​out.
