My wife has been to culinary school, been a personal chef & even dined in Mexico several times. She was very impressed with Los Cucos food. The service was very nice & prompt. It was such a good experience that we asked to see the manager & give him thanks. We do not work for this company & have absolutely no affiliation with Los Cucos. This place is REALLY worth your business. The only thing that would make it better is a better sound system.

I wish I could review the food, unfortunately, we waited over an hour and a half and only had 2 margaritas! Which, may I add, took each 45 minutes to even order! The place was dead, so I can’t say our waiter was«too busy.» Outside was BEAUTIFUL, so we wanted lunch and drinks, but as I said service was Excruciatingly slow!!! Therefore, we will take our business elsewhere! Thanks for ruining Cinco de Mayo!

This location has to be the retarded step child of the Los Cucos chain. It is very plain inside and the service was as bad as the food. There was only one other customer in the place at 6:30 on a Wednesday night. There were more servers in the place than customers, yet not a single person working had any idea who was supposed to wait on us. We decided to sit at the bar since we thought we had a captive employee but no. seems the bartender was also the cook that night. The food was bland and the beef looked like it came straight from a Sysco bag of frozen greyish meat product. Nothing but a machine can cut perfect 2×1 rectangles of beef product like a large industrial processing press. We are new to the area and are very disappointed that one of our favorite places to eat has not kept this location up to their standards

This restaurant at one time was excellent but the last few times we’ve been there, it’s been horrible! Tonight was the last time we will ever go back. The service was good but the food, well, it’s a good thing I made it home in time to get to my bathroom because that’s where I’ve been for the last 30 minutes! I was absolutely fine prior to eating only half of my meal, which consisted of a cheese enchilada, taco, rice and beens, and that’s because the food just plain didn’t taste good, and now my Friday night is ruined! We tried to tell the manager about the food not being good and since she couldn’t speak English, she just smiled and walked away! We were told the owner and cooks have changed recently. We can tell! We’ve been going to this restaurant for years, never again!

Amazing Tex mex– best fajitas I’ve ever had! Food was great and so was service– and $ 1.99 margaritas until 4pm… Wish I lived closer, we’d be regulars!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. We got the fajitas and fish tacos. The dip with the chips was beyond this world. The prices are really reasonable as well and you get so much food!

In the humble area, there are a wide variety of Mexican restaurants to choose from. Los Cucos is a good choice if you are looking for a nice selection of menu items at reasonable prices. They have some menu options that are even suited for family style dining which is nice especially if you are eating with children. One drawback I have noted on several occasions is that the prices on the menu are not always reflective of the prices in the computer. This just means you have to be careful and look at your receipt after your meal to make sure you are not being overcharged for something on the menu. This has happened to me on no less than five occasions. Although the difference is only between $ 1 and $ 3, it is a discrepancy that should have been addressed a long time ago and it still exist as a problem. Beyond that, the staff is usually very pleasant and seem to enjoy working there. On Wednesday nights they have live music and if you are looking for someplace close to enjoy a karaōke style performer, this might be the place for you. The food is typically always good so give them a try!

Came again and had their enchiladas. They were good. This time we came with our sons. My frenh fry kid ordered two large fries from the get go. Simple order that seemed impossible to execute and serve. His initial plate contained just a few frie. We told the waitress and she brought another and we ordered yet another making three. Although we really only got 2.5 servings. At 99 cents its not going to break the bank but knowing that this child was only going to eat fries when we told her, ywou would think they would inform us that their fries only came in side servings size orders and not a «large». I do not like kids waiting for their meals while parents are served first. Annoys me to no end. They had signs at the entrance for mojitos with no pricing on placards generally reserved for specials. We ordered those. They took FOREVER to be served. We ordered two each. Wait time seemed endless. They were good, no doubt about that. Check time came, we paid for 3 fries order but didnt complain although we thought the first one was a mistake and was being replaced by number two. Whatever. No big deal. The drinks were 7.99 each! Eek! Lesson learned. Will be weary next time I stop by. We will be back but cautious.

We came in for a friend’s birthday and the service was horrible. Our server was struggling keeping up with our table of 20plus people. When I spoke to the manager about the quality of service he said that two people could handle it. I explained that it took 10 minutes after I received my fajitas to get my beans rice and sour cream. He then tried to tell me that wasn’t the case because he made sure be got the food out and pretty much said I lied. I am highly disappointed and I will not be going back.

Went to this place on 11-16-2014 for dinner with my wife and child. I ordered the Texano plate, my wife the taco salad, my child the cheese burger. All I can say is WOW, what bad food. My child liked the cheese burger but this is coming from a 7 year old. The rest of the food was lousy. The wait staff we slow and lazy. We waited for 45 min for food and we were the only people in the restaurant at the time! After we got our food we waited for another 5 minutes for utensils and napkins. My wife and I sent back our food and we waited for another 20 minutes for our checks. Actually I had to go into the kitchen to find my waitress, Gaby, to ask for my check. She was too busy flirty with the dishwasher guy, lol… Never again we will go to this one or any other Los Cucos.

The food quality is consistent with other Cuco’s restaurants. The lunch specials are great, most come with rice, beans, pico. I like most they have vegetarian options, quesadillas, vegetable tortilla soup. it works

Food is mediocre. I didn’t like the salsa and chips at all. The chips & salsa didnt make me want to keep eating more and more as I do at most Mexican restaurants. Salsa had heat but no flavor. Service was good. I had fajitas served with charro beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. Food was a bit overpriced, as were the $ 5.99 margaritas(served in a small glass). I think they would fair better if they offered either value on the food or value on the drinks because the food was not impressive. They offered wifi which I got pretty excited about but it didn’t appear to be working. We chose outdoor seating(which may have been the reason for the problems with the wifi connection), however the outdoor seating was the brightest spot of my dinner. I enjoyed the relaxed outdoor covered seating.

Guacamole is the bomb. If the tortillas get a little cold, they start to get hard. They should keep them in a warmer. The rice is good, but I have had better. The beans a la charra ar good. Margarita’s are delicious. The don’t have sweet tea. The chips & salsa is not bad @ all. The chicken fajitas at yummy, & so are the chicken quesadillas.

Love this place! I usually come here for lunch and get the grilled fish and vegetables. I tried the fajitas with the Los Cucos topping tonight; outstanding. The wait staff are great, very attentive. The menu has a lot choices and the salsa is really good.

I’ve been to several Los Cucos locations, but only a few of them are on my top list to visit again and this location is definitely one of them. I’ve been to this place twice with last night being the most recent and service is ALWAYS excellent. Granted they weren’t busy both nights that I was there so they were able to give us lots of attention, but believe me, you can be the only group at a restaurant and some employees will still not give you the light of day. The chips are the most addicting. The waitress brought out warm and super fresh chips with the perfect crunch and the usual red and green salsas. We pushed the red salsa to the side and devoured the green salsa. She noticed right away and replaced our green salsa with TWO of them. It made me very happy =) I ordered my usual and shared it with my boyfriend: Medium order of beef fajitas a la Maria(it’s no longer on the menu, but you can still request for it!) which has green bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms melted with jack pepper cheese. It comes with a side of rice and beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, and cheddar cheese. We also ordered an extra side of guacamole because we tend to fight over who uses the most guacamole. The whole time while I was eating, I could not stop saying how delicious the fajitas were and how Los Cucos is always consistently amazing. Best of all, this was just the right amount of food for the both of us and the bill was just a little over $ 18 total. They are located in a small shopping center near the Walmart off of 1960 in Humble. All in all, service: EXCELLENT, food: DELICIOUS. You should definitely give this place a try!

Been here a couple times because I really liked their red cheese enchiladas. THese were the first California taqueria compatible ones I had tasted in Texas, and it was SO exciting. Today kind of burst my bubble, but I still appreciated it. I’ll get to that in a bit. When you walk there may not be someone at the door to greet you, but just give htem a second and there will be. We’ve sat in a booth once and it felt really uncomfortable(cushions werent cushy, and they felt dirty since it was non-wipable material/cloth) so we always ask for a table now. Today was my first time have a waitress that is actually fluent in English. Dont get me wrong, I have nothing against waiters/waitresses that don’t speak English well — unless they mess up my order because of it– but it was a surprise and a helpful one at that. She was cheerful and attentive. I ordered red enchilada sauce because that’s what I’d had before and liked it. But she came back from hte kitchen to inform me that the red sauce has bacon in it. We didn’t even tell her we were vegetarians, she just knew from our order, so it was really considerate and thoughtful on her part. She really took care of her customers. The salsa’s they serve are yummy. I love that the red one is warm. The enchilada dish looked amazing — i posted of pic of it — and tasted good too. the green sauce is a good combo of tangy and spicy.
