My husband and I are new to Texas and went in to purchase a gun from this dealer. The gentleman told us we could not purchase the gun that day due to the fact that we still had out of state licenses. We put the gun on layaway, paying $ 346.12 down on it, and told the gentleman we would be back to pick it up on 9⁄8 when we were planning to get our licenses. He told us that was fine, we had 3 months to get it, took my husband’s business card for contact info. We went back as promised on the 8th only to find that the store was closed for inventory. We made 3 additional stops during the following week, but the same closed for inventory sign was up in the window. Last Monday my husband stopped on his way in from work and found the owner moving everything out of the shop, he told my husband that the business had been sold. My husband showed him the receipt where we had paid to put the gun on layaway. No one had called us to tell us the store was closing. The owner looked and said he couldn’t find the gun, and said he would refund the money back to our account. He did something with the cc machine and gave my husband a new receipt that was supposed to be for the credit. He told him it would take 2 – 3 days for the credit to hit the account. My husband didn’t have his reading glasses on, so he didn’t realize until he got home that the«credit» receipt was actually just a reprint of the original receipt. We tried to contact the owner but the voicemail is full. We sent a message to his linked in with no response. We have yet to receive the credit, more than a week later. We are now disputing the charge with our bank, but since we used a debit card instead of a credit card we doubt they will refund. I guess our next move will be to small claims court. This business is now empty. We may never see a dime of the money back, but that’s ok. At least we’re not lying frauds.

It’s a good store with friendly staff. They have a good selection, especially considering the size of the store, and they have much better prices on many guns than the big gun stores. They have a nice selection of Colts, Sigs, and Glocks. The reloading supplies and ammo are a little pricy, but the have it and that’s a plus! I have purchased several guns there and I’m sure I will buy more.

AAA+++ A really great gun store. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. They took the time to answer questions and they seemed like they knew what they were doing. The prices at the store are pretty good and they will do price matching which is pretty nice. They also had a great selection of guns, ammo and accessories. I would really recommend this gun store!!! Also, this is a veteran owned business!

Not the sharpest staff by far. Had questions the lady couldn’t help me with. When I came to pick up my firearm they couldn’t even find my paperwork(unorganized). And didn’t have the ammo for my new gun so I went elsewhere for that. No need to come back. Sharpen up a little.

I really like this shop. They got a good selection of handguns, AR’s/AK’s, home defense shotguns, and sporting arms. Decent ammo selection considering the ammo shortage. They also got a small, but good selection of holsters(better than nearby Walmart & Academy). They also have all the other odds and ends you would expect to see in a gun shop(Cleaning equipment, bags, knives, mags, etc). Any time I have walked in, I was assisted promptly. Salesman are knowledgeable.

This little shop has a huge selection of handguns. If you are in the market for a pistol of revolver, this would be a good place to start. I visited to the store looking for an accessory, which they didn’t have in stock, but I’ll definitely stop by again if I’m in the market for something new.

Elvin runs a tight ship. This small locally owned gun and antique firearms and firearm regalia store focuses on hunting, sporting and competition firearms with a healthy dose of personal defense firearms mixed in. The owner and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly and ready, willing and able to advise you on your first, or your hundredth firearm purchase. They buy, sell and trade firearms. Keep a huge selection of SIGs in stock. I’ve not even explored the half the store dedicated to antique items related to militaria and firearms history.
