People are nice, not the fastest service ever, but they gave me a discount since the oil change took a little long. I would probably come back but make sure I am not in a hurry.

I am new to the area and I came here for an inspection sticker. The staff as well as the manager were very helpful and informative! I will check back and update when I do my first oil change here

I don’t trust many people with my car and I’m new to the area. Slowly but surely I’ve been gaining trust with these mechanics. They seem to be very thorough and, recently, I was not happy with a fluid exchange. They explained everything to me very honestly and respectfully and offered to re-​do it (even though it wasn’t needed). The front desk guys are simply the best I’ve encountered in this area of Houston. They’ve earned my loyalty so far. I’m a very satisfied customer.

I went to get my car inspected for my tags. Everything went fine except for the fact that they tried to tell me my master brake cylinder was leaking and needed to be replaced. I told them I just got all of my car checked on the dealership literally a couple days ago and the «oh shit» face came on. They went to converse around my car for 5 minutes, pulled the car around, and showed me «the leak». It was a dry stain from where someone filled brake fluid. I asked him directly,
Me: well is it actively leaking?
Him: well no, it might have been leaking before
Me: if it’s not actively leaking, then how can you say it’s broken, maybe someone spilled some fluid while they were topping off my cylinder.
Him: we can’t pass you because our state inspectors have the standards of a medical board blah blah blah. (after tired of talking to me), come back after you wipe it up and we’ll pass you.
I went into the parking lot, took a piece of tissue, spat in it and wiped up the dry stain. Made another appointment, went there, and they didn’t EVEN open my hood and passed me.
And that is the story of how they tried to cheat me into fixing something that wasn’t broken, wasted 3 hours of my time, and didn’t even have the decency to hide it (passed me to just get rid of me since I was hovering, because I didn’t trust them).

This location and the couple of people I dealt with here at Drivers Auto Repair were so nice, professional, and extremely helpful.
NO ONE likes car trouble. I found this location when my car would not start after a lunch appointment. When I looked on my map app on my phone this was the closest to me. When I called the gentleman that answered the phone was so encouraging, and helped me not be so uptight in the fact that they were less than ½ mile away.
Once there, everything went so quickly and they were very upfront and I didn’t have long to wait.
Their facility is VERY customer friendly. A separated, quiet comfortable waiting room and a separate room for kids… if ya had any with you.
I had to attend an evening work requirement, but the crew and staff here called me to inform me of the progress and we handled all payment arrangements over the phone. They then, at my request, left the car, with keys (and a receipt) locked inside and hidden, so that my alternate ride could drop me off at 10 p.m. to pick up my car and I didn’t have to make arrangements again to come across town to their location.
I totally recommend Driver’s Auto when a mechanic and repairs are needed!

Getting vehicle repairs at the same place allows you to really get to know the staff and their work. I have visited this Auto repair business on several occasions and they are kind, hard working folks. Who value their customers.
I will be back to this place. They are slowly gaining my trust.

Please do not patronize this business. They overprice parts, claim they are new and then install used parts.
