Very reasonable buffet price compared to others. Good selection of food; they even offer pupusas and fried plantains which are signature salvadorean dishes not normally found at chinese buffets. That tells me their staff influences the menu. They even offer chicken spring rolls and chicken egg rolls, which I haven’t seen anywhere else and is a nice alternative to the typical pork or shrimp rolls. We came on a weeknight for dinner and could tell it was short-staffed, explaining the«now hiring» sign in the window and doorway. Nonetheless, the owner seated us and was very cordial. Drinks were promptly refilled and used plates were picked up quickly. Clean restaurant and the food was okay for the price.

I’ve had my share of Chinese buffets but this by far has been the worse. There was an array of food selection but it wasn’t even good, seems like the food has been sitting out for awhile. I don’t expect much from their sushi, but it was hard when I took a bite of a piece. The taste of their food wasn’t satisfying at all! Probably the only good thing they havegoing for them was the jello. But I did appreciate that they were very clean and always made sure our glasses of water never went empty.

I ate here once before and it wasn’t bad but today was down right horrible. Everything tasted like it was reused from the previous day and some of the chicken tasted very off.

Terrible food everything was really salty or hard as a rock. I went to the manager and told her about the food! She said well we don’t have any other complaints about the food and didn’t say sorry or try to fix the situation she was very rude! She said all she could do was take 10% off the check and I told her that she can apologize for the experience we had but she couldn’t do that! I will never come back to china ko again! More like china blows instead ko!!!

Not usually a fan of chinese food or buffets but this place was pretty good. The place looks like they spent a lot on décor. Food was hot and fresh we ate our fill for $ 7.50 each.

Compared to the Lings and Café East which are in the area, this place was disappointing. They have large variety of food but its below average taste. i liked the general tso chicken and their beef and broccoli, besides that, the fried rice was just okay and the chow mein felt like chef boyardi noodles. The restaurant itself is very elegant and clean. The desserts were good and attentive service.

Went there for lunch. The restaurant looks like it could seat 200 people comfortably. Lunch and a soda was $ 9.95. Large buffet but nothing out of the ordinary. Hot and Sour soup was average. Not too much MSG but not a lot of flavor either. Chinese food was hot and fresh but tasted average. Sushi, spring rolls etc. were nothing to write home about. If you like a comfortable Chinese food buffet it’s good. If you are looking for something special go somewhere else.

HORRIBLE! Long story short people next to us left some shrimp on their plates. A worker, manager?, came by and started removing the«good» shrimp and put them back in the buffet! It was clear as day, no shame at all. I told the owner what happened after I got into it with the worker and he simply shrugged it off. Spread the word!

Chris N. said it well in his review«Humble, TX… home of the Chinese buffet.» Seriously, how many low budget Chinese buffets does one suburb need? Apparently at least one more. If they did a study, I’m sure there would be more Chinese buffets per capita in Houston suburbs than anywhere in the universe.(Yes, I’m going to be bold and say«universe.» I’ll gladly retract when we find more Chinese buffets on Alpha Centuri.) This one isn’t as bad as Golden Island, so it gets two stars, but I left hungry. There was nothing there unless you are a quality indifferent carnivore. True, they had a sad little salad bar, but I don’t count that. If someone knows an Humble/Kingwood area Chinese restaurant that is non-buffet and has a vegetarian dish other than mushy tofu, please, PLEASE let me know about it.

Food: The variety of food selection is good. It’s what you would expect from a Chinese buffet. The food seemed hot and fresh. The downside was there was too much cilantro and too much ginger used as garnish or seasoning. Sometimes we(Joey and I) felt confused whether it was a Chinese or Mexican food restaurant because their Mexican food is delicious and sometimes had an influence on the Chinese cuisine. We always have to skip dessert because by the time we get to that point we are so stuffed that we don’t even head that direction. Pretty decent salad bar. Service: Only once was the service bad but to their credit it was an extremely busy night. It always seems that drink service was always on par or above par.

Humble, TX… home of the Chinese Buffet? First there was Ling’s, now there’s China Ko… and I have to say the winner is China Ko. The food is just better than Ling’s though there’s nothing really special about the buffet that makes the menu stand out. The house fried rice was good as was the general tso’s chicken and the crab puffs(much much better than lings for the above). On the desert buffet, the flan was very good. On the average side was the hot and sour soup(thus the 3 stars… that’s then make or break for me with Chinese food… love my hot and sour). Also average was the spareribs and pepper steak. The only item I had that was not good was the chicken wings. The service was good… my soda never reached empty(though they had Pepsi products… I’m a diet coke kinda guy). Out the door for $ 10.95 for lunch and soda.
