I had the best meatloaf I have ever had at this family restaurant. The onion rings were huge and fabulous. The ice tea was good too. Give this family restaurant a try you will we satisfied.

The portions are huge the prices are very comparable to the portion size. The service was exceptional of the seating was very very cozy the place looks like it’s brand new basically it’s a little difficult to find if you are not from here so just be on the lookout for the right Street best thing to do is keep your GPS on it will take you right to it you won’t be sorry

Stopped here on the way to Holland, MI. Not a bad little place to stop. Ordered the Rueben and its was a standard size but good none the less.

Stopped here on the way to Grand Rapids with 4 kids and 4 adults. Good kids menu and they were happy with pancakes. Spinach chicken salad, soup, and muffin all good. Nice clean place with good food. Cinnamon rolls and pies were awesome.

Good food, came recommended by the locals. Quick service and very nice wait staff. We will be doing this joint again… AWESOME breakfasts anytime. Yum!

Nothing fancy, just plain good food at reasonable prices. Great service and very friendly.

Went on a Saturday for lunch… The place wasn’t super busy but had a decent crowd. The interior is nicely decorated with an upscale family diner feel… It was clean and inviting.
They have baked item up front in a case… My dad said they are very good… We didn’t try any this visit… But they looked really good.
The menu has a decent variety… I didn’t really pay attention to the dinner entrees as we were there for lunch. Burgers, wraps, soups and salads on the lunch side… And breakfast until 1:30pm…
My dad and I both got the chicken pot pie @5.99 $… It was DELICIOUS! Lots of chicken… Veggies tasted fresh and it had a yummy creamy sauce inside the crispy outer shell. Although it wasn’t huge… It was very filling. My son got the chocolate chip pancakes… they were also good… Light and fluffy… And the stack of 2 were so big he couldn’t finish them…
The waitstaff was very nice and attentive… And the prices for what we had more than reasonable…
We definitely will be back when in the area.

Good food and excellent service, at least for breakfast. Most of the people here seemed to be locals, which is usually a good sign. Our breakfast was prepared quite well and the staff were friendly and efficient.
Even though there were plenty of customers, the tables were far enough apart that dining area was fairly quiet, which we liked.
We plan to make this a regular stop on our travels through Michigan.
Easy access to I-​196 — just one block south of the highway.
They don’t take American Express.

I was driving into Grand Rapids from Chicago looking or a place to eat, other than fast food places, and there are not many options along I-​196 from Benton Harbor.
This is a family style diner, that was open and serving after 9pm, although I think I was their last customer of the night.
Their location is a little tricky, up the hill to the right from the highway, they need better signage, maybe a lit sign.
It’s a big place, with a large menu, basic fair, nothing fancy, with daily specials, and reasonable prices.
I assume they represent the restaurant stylings from the GFS menu of items. But my grilled chicken sandwich was good, with hot fries.
