Venison America

The meats they provide are amazing. I know this now from going to their retail location Specialty Meats & Gormet.
I’ve come to Venison America about five times but have never been able to actually get anything. The hours aren’t bad if you live in the area, but if you are coming from out of town then it can get complicated. I think the days are Tuesday-​Friday. When I’d come from, or return to Chicago it would never work. I’d arrive too late on Friday, or if I came on Saturday it wasn’t going to happen. They weren’t open Sunday or Monday and those are typically the days I return. I know it’s not really their fault, but Mondays would have been convenient.
I was coming back here on a Tuesday and sure they would be open. I tried calling and only got a voicemail. But the message told me to check out their retail location off of the freeway and I did. They have great products; it’s just too bad I couldn’t have seen what they do at the actual location.
