I had a horrible experience there twice. Girls are extremely rude as soon as you tell them you don’t like something. I walked in with a picture of what I wanted to get done on my nails, and 3 people looked at it and told me «yes, we can do that.» However, the final results were not even close to the picture I showed them. I asked the girl to change the colors and she literally got mad at me and the manager who was sitting two chairs over said, «the picture changes the color of the nails so it’s not possible to give you the exact look.» Okay, so why was I told when I first walked in that it was possible? Any one of the 3 people who looked at it could’ve said that to me and I would’ve gladly picked something different. I explained to her that I was told I can get the same look as my picture and that this isn’t what I asked for. The girl who did my nails was very angry that I wanted to change the color and said«you’re still paying for it»…I told her I’m not concerned with the cost, I just want to be happy with my nails, so please remover this color and I will choose something else. I told her if she wants to charge me extra for changing the colors, that’s fine. I’m not concerned with how much it costs. The girl was extremely rude the whole time and literally pulled my hand because she was mad she had to redo my nails. When I went to pay, she slammed down my card on the counter as well as my receipt and walked away. Not one person thanked me for my business or even said goodbye even though I was polite to all of them and thanked them for changing the colors. I even went to the girl’s nail station and left her a tip. Hopefully she can buy some manners with it. This is not a way to treat your customers at all. Obviously they don’t know how to be professional or what customer satisfaction means. To the response posted: I can’t help but laugh when you say«I pulled video and recording» and«you were yelling» considering you were sitting over 2 chairs from me. Not once did I «yell» or even become«angry» like you stated. It’s mind blowing to me that this is how you choose to run a business but from your response it is very obvious that running a business isn’t your expertise. There was no reason for your tech to be «frustrated» or give me any attitude. She’s there to do nails and if a customer isn’t happy with the final results, they have the right to change it. I didn’t ask for anything free or for your«courtesy» and I would’ve gladly paid any costs that required me changing colors. I was polite to you and everyone I spoke with the entire time even though I was treated horribly. Your response to my review shows even more how ridiculously you run a business. Being professional and polite to your customers is a requirement, you don’t just do it when it’s convenient for you and ignore it if you have to do a little extra work. I suggest you stop lying and making excuses as to why a customer would be treated the way I was treated, and focus your time and improving your customer service.

I love this place! My friends & I came in on Thursday night for mani’s/pedi’s before we head out on vacation, I must say the girls are very creative on their nail designs. The place is very clean and classy, yet it is so relaxing a during the pedicure I almost fell asleep. Especially the massaging part. Definitely I will pass on and recommend my friends and colleagues to come here. They also do waxing which is a plus, cause rarely you could find the right person to do it correctly.

They get better in their service, even though their«newer» equipment is getting beatten up! The place PACKS on weekends, so get in an appointment if you can. Also, book ahead if there is a holiday coming up. The techs are so nice and keep the place so clean. Id love to recommend Teresa, but good luck getting her! She is EVERYONES favorite girl! Plenty of parking, unless its holiday season or post holiday when the gym is crawling like roaches…

Absolutely terrible experience today. I went in for a full set with my friend who was going to get a pedicure and both of us getting waxed. We were told to pick out a color and then a woman told me to go to table 13. I politely went over and asked if the woman I had last time had any following appointments and if I could have her do my nails after she was done doing another girl. I requested her because she had done my nails the previous week and did a great job and I wanted the same kind. The girl that was SUPPOSED to do my nails looked at my in disgust and rolled her eyes at me as if I was being a hassle, then continued to clearly talk about me in another language to her coworkers. Never have I felt so disrespected or uncomfortable in a nail salon. I was a regular customer of this place too and have spent so much money there they lost two very valuable regulars today. I’ll never go back and do not recommend this salon to anyone.

I called this place while here for hockey my son. I had a tight schedule — I had an hour and 20 minutes for travel time and manicure. Tiffany fit me in and did a beautiful job and had me back to the rink on time to watch my son play. The place was clean it was efficient, & I would go back in a second.

I really like this place. It is always very clean and organized. I think every nail place can be rated solely on the nail tech that you have — I can see one tech and love the place and you see another and hate the place and will never go back. I always call ahead to make an appointment with My. She is really friendly and does an amazing gel manicure. An amazing gel manicure — how do you judge this — you do by how long it lasts… two weeks at the minimum! She makes good small talk with you and remembers things from times when you were there before. She is also good at taking cues when you don’t want to talk preferring to relax. I have also come in for a pedicure with her and it was very relaxing. The prices here are very reasonable and mostly about equal to other places.

I called a few minutes before 7 to ask if I could come in for a pedicure on a Tuesday and they said sure. The pedicure lasted nearly 40 minutes and was very well done. I will return!

Been going to Nail Essence for a while now — really like it — the girl who does my nails is Tiffany and her work is great. My nails don’t break or chip in between fills and the pedicures always turn out beautiful. Prices are very fair and the work is great. They always get me out fast when I am on my lunch break too and that’s a huge plus!

My friend and I come here about once a month to get gel manis together. Last night we had 5:30 appointments for the both of us. I was taken right at 5:30 and my friend wasn’t taken until 6:10! 40 minutes late! She was sitting next to me and asked the girl that was doing my nails how much longer until someone came and did hers because we had the same appointment. She didn’t say anything. Or she mumbled and we couldn’t understand her. I told my friend to leave because waiting forty minutes when you have an actual appointment is ludicrous! She said she would’ve left but unfortunately this was the only time she could get her nails done before the holiday. She sucked it up and waited. I think it is unacceptable. No one even said sorry for the wait or anything. I understand all the nail techs were with customers but what’s the point to making an appointment if no one is going to be available? If anything, at least acknowledge the fact that you were maybe short staffed or running behind. Maybe knock a few bucks off the price or offer a free one next time, I don’t know. I like this place because the price is good, it’s close to home and when your nails are done they do look good. This was more of a bad experience for my friend who doesn’t have 40 extra minutes to just sit around waiting.

I went here tonight. Made an appointment for 6pm for a gel mani & standard pedi. I arrived 15 mins early and was taken right away. Theresa was my nail tech and she was amazing. I have a kinda-crazy toe nail right now because I broke my big toe back in March– she glued it to keep it together until it grows out & and did a great job on my pedicure(40mins!) & polish,(includes exfoliation & lotion/massage). I had some gel on my fingers and she wrapped them before my pedi to have them ready to go when we were done. Gel mani was flawless and pretty standard. Great selection of gel colors and she did a fantastic job with the polish.(The place I used to go in Framingham was terrible with the gel polish and made me look insane). She shaped my nails just how I wanted them and was so pleasant and a breath of fresh air compared to where I had been going. It seems like a busy nail salon spa in a good but not overly traveled strip mall. There were techs available for walk ins and everyone seemed super nice and pleasant. The salon was also very clean and well kept. I will definitely be back again, great experience ! OH and did I mention… The price was absolutely worth it and VERY reasonable! The best prices I’ve found in Metrowest, especially for gel. :)

I went in here to get a full set of acrylics. I’m not sure which lady did them. I have only been here twice, today and one time three years ago. the prices are amazing and I gave a 7 dollar tip to the girl who did my nails. she was nice and made me laugh a couple times and make a couple nice funny jokes I think to try to make me feel comfortable. I went with my friend who was not that pleased with her lady but was pleased with her acrylics. my acrylics look very good for the most part but I asked for square and some of the edges are rounded which makes them look broken, you can’t tell from far away. she did two coats of the polish I picked and it’s a very pretty color. my nails though, are burning and throbbing in pain as of right now. I looked up the reasons of why this would happen online and some things said it was normal for that to happen and it will go away and you’ll have to get used to it. some places said if the nail salon uses a Dremel(sorry not sure how to spell) drill that it hurts the nail beds very badly and makes them incredibly thin. I hope this is not what happened to me and I hope the pain stops. BUT beauty is pain and I like them a lot. I will be going back for fills when I need them and have the money, I really like it here besides the pain after! I will probably add more stars when I get my nails done a couple more times. I went again and had to go back because they smudged not even a half hour after I left. I payed 18 for a fill and tipped 5 dollars. I wasn’t happy when I went back since they should not have smeared. also, the second time I got done. I waited 20 minutes for them to dry and when I left they smudged again and are smudging everywhere. never get glitter on your acrylics there

This was my first time here and I wasn’t too sure what to expect. Lindsey called me over to a seat much sooner than I had anticipated. Well.. What can I say. Lindsey did a fantastic job on my full set of acrylics. She was very gentle doing my cuticles(I thought they were almost beyond repair) and she also paid meticulous attention to every part of the whole process. I would definitely go back again. After another couple of great nails I’ll give another star.

My go-to salon for nails and EYEBROWS. Can’t remember the name of the girl who does my eyebrows, I’ll ask next time, but I will never let anybody else touch my eyebrows besides her. I usually have the guy do my nails and he’s super great, and is such a perfectionist, I always know he’s going to do a great job. They’re always all friendly and besides having to wait sometimes, I’ve always had good experiences here.
