Don’t custom order furniture from here. Won’t return with all of the problems. Claim I changed my mind. I expected quality and good customer service. Received neither. Spent a fortune. MOD Can not do what bigger stores can. Cool store, I was deceived.

Love the vibe of the store. Great different, modern stuff! Very friendly, willing to help you staff. They even loaded the stuff in my car! Must see and stop here. No one else has this upbeat, in-style stuff.

Mod is a great store and Hudson is lucky to have such style in its own back yard. This is not discount furniture, it is stylish, good quality hand-crafted furniture and in many cases it is crafted locally by artisans and designers. Monica, the owner is delightful and very willing to take as much time as needed with you. I am not sure what the reviewer below is talking about, but I have been in the store several times and there is no ‘snob factor’, whatever that is. If you are looking for items that aren’t off the shelf or available at Value City Furniture, and definitely reflect mid-century modern style… Mod is the place.

I am so excited that I found this wonderful modern furniture store! I lived in NYC for years and now have a wonderful store to shop in that integrates nicely with my mid-century and contemporary style. Monica, the owner could not have been more friendly, kind and helpful. Just the right amount of attention! She has great style and taste in choosing new items for my home. I can not recommend this store enough. A breathe of fresh air in design for people who love and appreciate a modern/contemporary ecclectic style. I completely understand how MOD won the Akron/Canton Hot List for«The Best Furniture Store». Go visit, you will not be disappointed!!!

I went in to the store during a sidewalk sale event in Hudson in July of 2014. It was a Sunday during lunch hour. I was drawn by the unique furniture displayed outside the store(mostly items usually seen on other discounted famous websites). When I walked in, there were 2 sales ladies extremely busy among and only among themselves so that they didn’t even recognize me or my two daughters. There was nobody else in the store and the store is tiny. Even after awhile of looking around, they didn’t even bother to say«hello may I help you». They didn’t say a word. SNOBALERT. I think the snob alert equated with the inflated price of the items they had in the store. They had a reclaimed wood dining table on sale for 2800.00, which I could have gone to Arhaus for a lot less even when not on sale. I just recently got an email flyer from Arhaus and theirs was around 1000.00 on sale(regular price was around 1500.00). They had some other single chairs that mimicked 70’s velvet style fabric and was on sale for around 480.00. I later looked online at one of my favorite online stores and it was around 150.00. Needless to say, I will not be going back to purchase anything. If I did go back, it would probably be just to see how the products looked in real life that I saw online. However, having said that, if you like paying way over a product’s value just so you could say you bought it at this store, then you should. Otherwise, shop around online or any other reputable stores and save your money for your children’s education or anything else, and do not support inflated snobbery.
