Lakefront Park

If I were going to choose to live in WI, I would most likely choose Hudson. This is such a charming river town and the park is even more charming.
Spent our 4^th of July am watching the parade and then walking all around the park. Lovely park with lots of walking paths and one long walk over to the beach area. We had no idea there was even a beach sandbar at the end of our long walk, but once we go there we noticed all the revelers at the sandbar.
I could not stomach the port o johns. Those need a tad more freshner thrown in there, but I guess at least they had them.
Water fountains with cold water. A big one, medium one and little one (for dogs)
Grills
Walking paths
Boat launches
Picnic Shelters
Swimming
Picnic Tables
etc.
Playground
There was a carnival going on with live music and I believe they shoot fireworks off over the river.
Hudson is quaint and charming and so was this park.
Nice close enough day trip.
