Took my Hyundai for an oil change and on my way home another driver rolled down her window and told me that my passenger-​side tail light was out. Subsequently went to my trusted dealership and they showed me that something «happened» to the wiring around the tail light. They had to order a part, and I had to return to them to replace the wiring. I returned to Jiffy Lube for my next oil change. Within moments of my arrival, they told me that I had a damaged tail light they could repair for me. «That’s odd,» I said, «I just spent a chunk of money to have it repaired by my dealer.» Within MINUTES, I was informed the oil change was complete. I paid them, pulled out of their parking lot, and checked the tail light. It was perfectly fine, just as it had been since my dealer repaired it. I’m willing to bet they never did the oil change – they couldn’t have had the time. I have little doubt that they also caused the damage to the wiring.
