we purchased an antique light fixture that was listed as 39“H that actually ended up being 17“H. it was much too small to fit in the space for which it was intended and the vendor refused to take it back without a 50% «consignment» fee. this is a good lesson for anyone wary of buying pieces without seeing them in person first. the dealer told me that although he had mislabeled the dimensions in the online description, he wouldn’t take responsibility for his mistake.

WOW what a place! The owner wouldn’t give up info about his suppliers, and I have never seen such a huge collection of interesting vintage furniture like this anywhere. I’d consider it on par with something you’d find in NYC, but NYC stores tend to be smaller. Pricey, but just chock full of absolutely amazing things. I wish I had a big empty truck and an unlimited budget, because I would have driven way with several rooms full of furniture.
