I have been going to see Justine at Fantastic Sams for years now, and today as she has every time before she did an awesome job on my color and cut. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Hudson Fantastic Sams is not your normal chain, it’s truly a neighborhood salon!

Fantastic Sams is kind of… alright not kind of really a last resort in my family. For myself it’s a no-​no completely but for the hubby or my teenage son on days like today when our primary salon is closed then we might venture in. Stylist did a great job and was very friendly. She did nick the mole on the back of his head with the clippers in spite of being warned about it.
Price is a little high for a chain salon where most of the stylists are fresh out of beauty school. We pay less for cuts at our primary salon which is a bit more upscale.
Other thing I would say is the owner of this location does stand behind her work. A few years ago my son got a terrible haircut the night before school pictures we had requested a very specific cut and she buzzed him nearly bald. The owner refunded the haircut and then some to encourage us to come back. That’s great customer service in my book.

For a Chain Hair Salon it’s not bad I like the people that work there and it has been the same Base staff for a long time that is Nice to be recognized when you walk in it can be a bit busy but i find an early afternoon visit to be the best time to stop
