Great tapas, incredible desserts, really nice staff! It’s a bit pricey for Hudson but a lot of fun!

Hidden gem in the suburbs. True martini bar with delicious range of tapas. Perfect for date night or night out with girlfriends. Wait staff is charming and helpful. Parking is easy to find. The atmosphere is like stepping into a chic bar in the city. It was an unexpected treat! Will go back again for sure.

Pleasantly surprised by this spot. Went on a Friday night. Atmosphere was great, I really liked the vibe. Music was good and not too loud but they do turn it up around 11, no complaints, still enjoyed the music. They have some tvs at the bar. What really stood out was the food, it was INCREDIBLE. The truffle fries were top notch. I honestly wanted to lick the bowl when I was done. We also had a shrimp dish which was delicious as well. Drinks were good and service at the bar was attentive. Would definitely go back.

Love the ambiance and the service. Food is amazing but lacks vegetables. Seriously, lacks vegetables– no salad on menu, no side veg either. Otherwise, a very cool spot for drinks and local flare.

This place was really odd. I went there on a Friday or Saturday night with my sister. We thought it might be nice to just get out of the house and get cocktails. The street this place was on was deserted. When we walked in the place was so loud! We were able to get a table to sit at. For a martini bar there weren’t too many drink options. I was disappointed with the choices so I asked the bartender to make me a chocolate raspberry martini. He made a good attempt to make the drink, and said he could remake it if I didn’t like it. It was so strong I couldn’t drink it(not a normal complaint, I know), so I asked him to dilute it a little. I still didn’t like it, and my sister didn’t like her drink either. I was very happy that the bartender tried to please us, but it was just not happening. We didn’t like the drinks or ambience so we just left the bar leaving almost full martinis.

I’m not sure what to say about this place because I feel like it has great potential but is just not in the best location. In terms of ambience, the place has like a NYC vibe with a semi-dark interior yet adequate lighting and pretty good music(house, EDM). But it was obnoxiously loud in there. Forget trying to talk to your friends in there. Also, outside this place it is completely deserted. You can’t really bar hop. Came in to grab a cocktail and noticed most of the drinks were vodka based … which is great, if you like vodka. They also had a few gin based martini’s. We ordered a Peach Fuzz and the bartender was nice enough to do a made-to-order drink for us which was basically a chocolate-raspberry martini. I normally wouldn’t complain about this, but the drink was EXTREMELY strong. Like undrinkable. You could taste nothing but alcohol. We ended up leaving the place and our $ 10 martini’s after just two sips and 15 minutes here. Can’t speak to the food here but maybe that’s worth a try. I visited a few months ago so maybe even the drinks have changed since then.

This was a «good and bad» kind of experience for us. We enjoyed our drinks, which were pretty on point. The food was definitely tasty, but the portions were incredibly, ridiculously small, with prices that just didn’t fit the portion. We had two apps(Goat Cheese balls and Bacalhau?) and one order of mac-n-cheese, with a single drink apiece. Our bill was $ 70 before tip! The mac-n-cheese was $ 22! For mac-n-frikkin cheese! And the portion of mac-n-cheese was tiny, served in this HUGE bowl with a a dab of mac-n-cheese in the bottom. The bartender was also the owner. He made good drinks, but he had zero interest in interacting with the patrons at the tables, even though there were only two table seated. You would think the guy would be interested in promoting his business to patrons. You never know when event planners that utilize businesses like his, come in to check out the possible venue(read as subtle hint…) Two of the dishes came with pork product in them, but does NOT state on the menu that they had pork in them(I went back and checked, to make sure). As my wife doesn’t eat pork, this was an issue, as we split our food. We tried to talk to him, but he wouldn’t even acknowledge my wife, and when we asked for the mac-n-cheese without shrimp, he stated he would make it, but we had to pay for it anyways. When we had an issue with that, he took off $ 2. Are you kidding me!!! Do you think people don’t grasp food cost? Do you think we don’t get that food cost is a huge part of running a restaurant? But $ 20 for a thimble full of mac-n-cheese is ludicrous. Especially when it was a la carte. Nothing came with it, at all. I hope they stay successful, as I see real potential here, but the owner REALLY needs to find a happy medium between cost and serving size. And maybe train your servers on your products. Our waitress was really nice, but knew absolutely nothing about the food service industry, or the food product she was serving. Nothing. Train your servers on your product, train them!

First time last night with group of work friends. Atmosphere was lovely and very tastefully done. We each had an martini, 2 of us had the French kiss, 1 had a peach variety and the other had one called the Caribbean. All drinks were really well made– kudos to the bartender– one would hope if you’re going to have a martini bar that would be the case. It was. We all tried each other’s Bev and were in agreement — Delish! The food was exceptional. Tapas dishes are perfect for this place. We tried the fried goat cheese, risotto(best I’ve ever had! I’m Italian and I not only make a kick ass risotto myself I seek out to try it when dining out and I’m usually left underwhelmed –not tonight!) the duck confit, olive tapenade(not a favorite), apple cider French onion soup(exquisite!!) and the saffron dmare(sauce was a bit too sweet but the seafood was very good) We’ll all be back!

Amazing food, definitely 5 star taste. The prices are a little high so I was considering 4 stars and the food selection is limited, but the quality is outstanding. The truffle fries are simply amazing. In addition to high prices the portions are rather small for the price, however this is to be expected for tapas. Even for my complaints, the food is just so good, I can’t even take away one star.

Fun, active, cool bar. Amazing combinations for martinis. Friendly bartenders and waitstaff. So chill! Just went for one-and-done on our way to dinner, but had a great experience at the bar. Had Lemon Drop and Grapefruit martinis.

Everything was done very well. From the atmosphere, to the knowledgable waitress, to the food and drinks. I had a Manhattan, and she had a dirty martini. To start, we split some charcuterie and cheese, and hummus. My meal was the seared duck, and she had a lemon chicken special. Everything we ate was top notch, and all about the details and presentation… which is hard to find this far west of Boston. I felt like we were transported to the city, and this place would not only hold its own in downtown, it would certainly show others how things should be done. We will definitely be going back to try everything else.

I hadn’t been back in a while, and I was SMITTEN to see how they have taken EVERYSINGLE recommendation and built upon them: 1. Service to include the bar — A+, Laura and Josh were A++! 2. Martini’s could still use work… BUT talk with Josh and he will make your drink to order ASYOULIKEIT! Another A+, but I still have to pitch him up to Joe from Fireplace Room, or Stephanie over at 29 Sudbury — its a LOCALSTHROWDOWN! YEAH! 3. Food — already the finest dining in town, the portions went from meager to the PERFECT tapas size. BUT, don’t get your heart too set on something. THEYCHANGE! The stuffed calamari were STUPID good. STUPIDGOOD! Beef pâté with cognac — make my knees week. Pork belly? O M G! Crispy, tender, perfect seasoning… Duck crêpe — oooh lala! Don’t be deceived because its a «Martini Bar» — they have middle shelf booze to elevate your spirits, and the food is really high end. Its small and tight, elegant and chic. Come for small plates or a nice dinner. WEHAVEGOTTOPROMOTEHUDSON!!!

I was so excited to eat here! It had been a long day and I just wanted to sit down and enjoy a nice diner. Unfortunately I only had one person dinning with me. I didn’t realize this would be an issue but since this place is small they require you to have 3+ people to get a table. Okay so maybe if it was busy I get it, although I still think it’s pretty obnoxious. But there was literally one table eating and 4 people at the bar. There should be exceptions. We left so I can’t say anything about the food, although it looked awesome. The bartender was really nice that’s the reason for the 2 stars instead of 1. If you don’t want to sit a loud bar round up your friends.

I have been here about eight times since the opening. They have had a really strong showing of support. I met the owner, what a sweetheart! I really, really want him to do well. So this review is purely to try to help, not hinder business. I will say, it is worth stopping in to check out. There are a lot of positives here. The ambiance is cool, modern and fresh. The staff are all friendly, adorable and I love the new purses(how cute is THAT?!) The tables are all set nicely, clean and it is a really fun place to dine. Ok, ok, so it is a Martini Bar. The cocktail list is impressive and everyone that I have brought who imbibes has enjoyed their cocktail. I would, however, really like to see a few mocktails make the list. It would be fantastic to have some creative, non-alcoholic options like some of the craft spots in Boston. Maybe a shrub or some virgin versions of the martinis? Instead, there is soda or one option of a bottled ginger beer which I find to be way too sweet. The food has been for the most part enjoyable. The hits, were the Salmon and Pork Belly. I also love the Fried Goat Cheese. The misses, have been the sides and the price structure for some of the samplings. The house-made hummus and tapenade was awesome, but at $ 9 and served in a condiment ramekin, the plating and portion was way off for the price. We also had to order an additional serving of bread, which is four tiny slices off a baguette for $ 3. So our tiny appetizer cost as much as our Duck Confit Crêpe! The Asparagus($) was decent but not worth the price, especially when there are plenty of seasonal veggies at a lower cost. We paid roughly $ 50 for a small crêpe, one fried goat cheese, 5 pieces of asparagus, two tiny condiments and six pieces of baguette. Which I found to be really, really overpriced. Maybe if it was a bit more seasonal/locally sourced(Check out Moody’s in Waltham), it would make a bit more sense. The execution of the dishes has always been on point. Minus the recent Pork Belly which didn’t have any texture to it(it was accompanied by two purees so it was far too many soft components… needed a little crunch). The flavors have always been spot on though! Hopefully these are just some learning curves. We will be back.

Drinks are decent. I’ve had worse and I’ve had much better. Food is very good, but the portions are tiny. I’d either like a bite or two more, or a reduction in price. My pork belly app was barely three mouthfuls. The ham and sausage plate only had three pieces of each and three pieces of bread. Shame on you for charging extra for more bread. At 12.00, we should’ve gotten enough bread. The potato puffs are delish! Food was good, but with the prices I won’t be sprinting back.

This martini bar is part of a new change happening to Downtown Hudson, and it’s a breath of fresh air! A comfortable spot located on the main street(literally and figuratively) this place is very easy to find and even easier to stay inside. Efficent use of a bar, a middle island high-top section, and a series of half booth/half table high-top section opposite the bar set the environment for dining or drinking. The booth was one long piece that lined the wall and looked like it was made from white leather. The environment was very comfortable with a lounge vibe later at night with neon green lights illuminating the bar and a projection against the bars wall. The martinis and specialty drinks are good but run pretty high. They also serve any other drink you would ordinarily order — making this a great place for a date night even if you’re not going to order a Martini. Did I mention live music? Yes, live music even on weeknights make this place a must see. Definitely check this place out!

The tapas is «beyond gourmet». Great drinks but the food far surpasses the drink menu. The lamb lasagna is to die for.

I highly recommend checking out Amaia on a Wednesday night! Acoustic music with Liam, how could you go wrong? The bartenders Josh and Jared are so much fun. They never skip a beat when it comes to your next need and always make sure your thirst is quenched. I’ve also never been to a place where the owners were so attentive as well. Nilton and Bethany are always there to say hello and thank you for coming in. You can tell they are very passionate for their establishment. And lastly… THEFOOD!!! Amazing!!! My personal favorites are the truffle fries and the crab cakes!!! Great date night spot. Or girls night spot. Or after work night spot. What ever the occasion… Check it out!!!
