I was looking for a place to relax for a day and a half and decided on a spot along the Hudson River. This is the first time I have stayed at a B&B, so I was not sure what to expect. I booked a room here, and I was glad I did. The home was originally built in(circa) 1810, and appeared to have received its fair share of upgrades over the centuries. It had a unique feel to it, a connection to its past. I stayed in the Edward room. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The door opened unto a porch and the backyard area, which was landscaped with stone. The big plus was the gas fireplace in the bedroom. There were also some nice decorative art pieces around the room. David, the proprietor, was a great host, cook, and just a very interesting person to talk to. The default breakfast is vegetarian, but he had no issues with preparing a delicious vegan alternative for the two days I was there. In addition, I met some very interesting people who were also guests of the house. They were very nice and I had a great time speaking with them. There is a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the common area. The town itself is a somewhat quiet New England town with Warren as its main street. There are antique shops, art galleries, a few bars and eateries, and a great view of the river and mountains just a block from the B&B. After a couple of days, I found myself ready to get back to the city, but the time I spent there was worth it.

A very relaxed and welcoming bed and breakfast experience. The room was clean and very cozy… we arrived on the day before Valentine’s and it was 0 degrees outside, but the room was toasty, inviting and peaceful. The breakfast was healthy and delicious! I left feeling relaxed and recharged. I would definitely stay again.

We spent new year’s eve at 26 Warren B&B and had a wonderful time. We stayed at the main suite called«KiKi Room», named after the artist KiKi Smith I believe. The fireplace was beautiful as was the décor in every part of the building which exudes a relaxed yet sumptuous aura. The highlight is the breakfast, which the proprietor cooked himself. Quite an extravaganza. The location on the quite end of town is definitely a plus as well. We’d stay again, Ming and Qi Lu NYC

I was in the area for a conference and reserved for one night. I had never been to Hudson before. The B&B is very lovely. The rooms are true to their pictures on their website. I stayed in the Edward room which is spacious, beautifully decorated, with a huge comfy bed. The room was billed as having porch access. What that means is that the room opens out onto a back porch overlooking a small yard below. It was very nice to sit outside and read. 26 Warren is at the far end(beginning) of Warren, but just a few blocks walk to restaurants, and a few blocks the other way to some nice park areas. Overall, a very nice experience. I would go back.
