Pretty cool, eclectic place near SML state park. As another review says… don’t let the looks deceive you. Good food at a good price. Seems like a fun place to hang out in season by the lake. We had the guiness pie and cottage pie. Very good and filling. Lots of beer choices. They even serve«yards». Even on a packed evening, service was quick and pleasant. Certainly a place we would return to.

This place is definitely a keeper. The pub is cozy and eclectic, the staff is friendly, and the food is good! All the pies sounded good, we got an order of each, Guinness pie, cottage pie, and chicken pot pie with giant pretzels && Guinness cheese spread to start. Each entrée was hearty, flavorful and filling. We had Killian’s, Guinness, wine and I had the new Stella Artois Cider on tap, we finished the night with their peanut butter brownies cake and it was decadent, but the perfect sweet treat! I’d certainly come back again, this is a perfect spot to stop after a nice boat ride to relax and kick back with good food && good company!

My family and I were at SML for the week, it was my father’s birthday and I wanted to buy him a beer. Reading the reviews on here, it sounded like a good place. Driving up though, I had my doubts. Kings Point Pub is definitely a place where you don’t want to judge a book by its cover. Upon walking in, the décor is a mix of collegiate, nautical, and irish. My kind of place. We were the first guests of the day and were greeted by Helen who showed us to some tables outside and told us about their beers on tap. She took the time to explain them all and give us a backstory as many were locally brewed. We were there for a while and decided that we should have the rest of our family come down for dinner(10 total). As this was a place that didn’t look like they could accommodate, we were a little apprehensive, but Helen took care of us and helped us move some tables around to take care of our group. I ended up ordering their Guinness Pie, a house specialty, and for good reason. Beef tips, mushrooms, potatoes, and gravy all in a flaky crust. It was delicious down to the last bite. My cousin had their BFB(big«filling» burger). He enjoyed the ½ pounder so much he got another. All in all, Kings Point Pub is a hidden Gem at SML with a rich history, fantastic food, and great beer at a reasonable price. I will definitely return and recommend anyone to stop by.
