Main Moon Chinese Restaurant

Hands down the best Main Moon I’ve ever had! Only giving it four stars because the consistency is pretty off. Most times it’s pretty good, but too often it’s disappointing in comparison.

Well as I’m traveling around, visiting Dollar Generals throughout OH, KY, NY. Every now and again I get tired of eating cold canned soup in my truck, so I decided on a short walk to this restaurant. I was just about the only person there to sit and eat. I ordered the crab rangoons, and the house special egg foo young. The food was enormous, and the rangoons exquisitely prepared. Slightly crunchy, but still with some give to the teeth. So hot I burned the inside of my mouth, but that’s my foolishness, not theirs. So good i didn’t care. The main dinner was decent, as well. Nothing much to say there, pretty average, other than the portion size. (Again, quite large) my only complaint is that after my food was brought out, I was completely ignored. All I wanted was some more water, but no one even walked by to flag down. All told, if this place was by my house, I can see my wife and I eating here frequently.

Love eating here, even though it isn’t that often. The egg rolls, fried rice, beef and broccoli is what u would recommend to anyone who wants to eat here. Great food, reasonable prices, amazing people, memorable experience. Enjoy your time!

I’m surprised this place only has two reviews. My wife and I came here after we heard that it was one of the top 100 Chinese food restaurants in the country. It is primarily take out but they have quality seating if you want to stay. We ordered fried dumplings, pork lo mein, amazing chicken and hunan triple delight. Everything was excellent. We don’t come to have it often but when we do come back here

Good Chinese place in a small town. I do not recommend the chicken by itself, not hearty. Chicken fried rice, amazing.

This place is listed on the top 100 Chinese takeout place. We went for lunch. They do have seating, but I can tell their focus is on takeout. Service was good for us, but there are nobody else besides us.
We only had lunch special which priced 4.50 to 4.75 or so. This include big bowl of soup with wanton chips. They serving is really big. and even give you fortune cookie and almond cookie, so I have to say this place was probably the best value for the money.
I had Triple Delight, and it was very good. Fried rice was really good too.
My husband had Kung Pao Chicken and they bread the chicken, so it was different and we were not big fun of it.
We don’t live there, so we cannot go there again, but yes, it is recommended.
