Very friendly service and beautiful old building. Nice place to stop while shopping in town.

The food here is not so good. I have been there a couple of times for happy hour apps and they pretty much suck. The«chef» is probably on drugs and has no clue how bad is. I ordered the boneless wings and was presented with a plate of what looked like the leftovers from a prepack bag. Plus the celery was stale and nasty. The woman working the bar had no problem serving this crap. Do not go there!!!

Great neighborhood place. As you would expect the Italian dishes are excellent. Extensive rotating craft beer menu has something for everyone.

I found this place depressing, very dark & dingy. Had a couple of decent beers on tap & food was ok but due to the atmosphere I don’t see me going back. Giving it a 3 because there isn’t a 2 ½.

We met friends here for dinner, solely because it was closer than driving to Brick Plaza, figuring we’d give this place another shot after a horrible experience with the food last time. The food, sadly, hasn’t improved. My burger, again, was ordered medium well but came out so well done I could taste the char. Meanwhile, it’s obvious my friend’s steak was frozen earlier, because while the color seemed alright, it was cold in the middle and very tough to cut. It doesn’t get much more basic than a hamburger. If you can’t handle cooking an even slab of meat to medium-well, I don’t trust anything else on the menu either. Look, just drive an extra 10 minutes up the road into Farmingdale and take your friends to Woody’s. Better beer, better food.

This is disgusting. To make a mockery of someone’s last words I would never come back to this place and suggest all self respecting New Jersey residents follow suit. This is not indicative of the feelings of New Jersey what a disgrace

I live locally and would love to say that this is a good place. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. The food is just ehh. Gone twice recently for pick up. Cheese fries looked just as sad as they tasted(fries with shredded, not melted, cheese). If you want anything beyond an average burger and a beer go elsewhere.

The service is spotty. The food isn’t anything special. But if you want a neighborhood bar with cheap beer, decent food, and a ton of tv’s to watch games and feel like you’re at home, this is the place. I love it here.

Whenever I’m in New Jersey visiting my family I like to go here. Last time I went it was ladies night and the drinks were half price for ladies and the food was half off too. It a small place but had plenty of room. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our glasses full. I had pasta with some sort of Alfredo sauce and the portion was huge. When I say huge I mean It could have fed three people easily. I find that for the price is Definetly worth it. I didn’t know about the bar scene they have going on there because we were there early so I will have to check it out next time I’m there.

The original restaurant, The Hungry Quail, was decent. The owner was usually on hand. It was a nice place to go close to my home. We have been several times since Rivolis have taken over and I’m sorry I am not impressed. It is a bar with food. They manage a decent wrap or burger, but otherwise the food is «meh.» I haven’t been back in a while for this reason, but a little over a week ago, I’d thought we’d give it a shot. There was about eight people seated at the tables. We arrived around 5:30. A couple behind us kept glancing at their watches. A woman sent her chicken back to the kitchen, because it was«tough.» It took 55 minutes for us to get our food. The bartender came over to us and explained that because my son ordered the salmon that it would«take longer.» I am sorry. We ordered the same exact meal at Ruby Tuesday. It was five dollars cheaper, came out in twenty minutes and tasted a lot better. The waitresses and bartenders are nice people, but the food just isn’t that great. It is a shame too. There isn’t a real restaurant in our area and we could use one. I doubt seriously if I will ever go back.

We came here for a UFC Fight Night Event to meet and greet with UFC fighter Dan Henderson. I had a blast as Dan is my favorite MMA fighter, but Rivoli’s did a great job all around with food and service and handling the event. We live a little under 2 hours away so I had to purchase $ 25 tickets over the phone in advance. We did not know that the restaurant would remain open to the public so technically Becca did not need a ticket just to come with me as she had not intended on meeting Dan but after the event was over I was glad we bought two tickets partially because each ticket included a free app and drink an amazing deal in my opinion. We got there about an hour before the event was supposed to start and seemed like that was just before most of the crowd started to show up. The woman at the door found our tickets no problem and was very clear about where Dan would be sitting and broke down specials for the event and knew exactly what was going on. Our server Kelly was awesome she was very friendly and did a great job handling our table all night as we were here for about 5 hours. Through the night we got three apps all were good Calamari(nice and crispy) Jalepeno poppers and Wings. We also split a event special«Hendo» burger, which was really messy but tasted really good. There were plenty of TV’s here and if I lived closer would be an awesome place to watch a night of fights regularly. Seems like a place that has a ton of regulars which at first was a little intimidating but by the end of our night we were having a good time chattin/joking with the people working the event, our server, and the other people in the bar. A shame we arent closer but sounds like they will keep having events like this with other fighters so I would definitely make the trip again.

Really nice people, but felt food could have been better for the price. Big plates yet I finished my meal in 5 minutes during a discussion — not the greatest portions. Don’t come expecting great food, but it’s okay for a deal or if you’re in the area. 2 stars for food, an extra for service minus 1 for value.

First time here was a Thursday night. A few of my coworkers and I wanted to unwind and chat. It’s you’re average bar(though in a strip mall). The wait staff and the bartenders were not the most attentive. Specials were not clearly posted anywhere and each time you asked someone, they were different. I just had a beer and BBQ boneless wings. The sauce on the wings was delicious. It was a decent volume in there until a totally unnecessary DJ half-assed some music. In the wide open establishment, the DJ decides to set up so close to our table, we didn’t have elbow room. So annoying. He played terribly music, looked sloppy, and wouldn’t stop hitting on our table of girls. Not a terrible place but I certainly don’t have a desire to return. Definitely not during DJ time.

Went for St Patricks Day. I come to the Rivol’s Restaurants a lot. Love the food here. always delicious. The service was as always excellent !!! Love the bag pipes … The band they had in between. though a very good bar band, did not play one irish song ??? you would think if they knew they were playing on ST, Patty’s day they would have learned at least one. But this is a review about Grill and Chill and the food and service great !!!

I prefer a dive to going to the club. My girl and her man took me here and I really enjoyed myself. Jukebox [x] sports [x] great service [x] great food & drinks [x] great atmosphere [x] okay I loved this place. Atmosphere is divey ! There’s comfy(recliners?) chairs, booths & tables. the bar is relaxed. The bartenders knew my friends by name and knew their orders(they are regulars) it was my first time but they treated me the same way. my whiskey old fashioned was strong & well made. the Mac & cheese bites were DELISH! we had 3 rounds of cinnamon toast crunch shots YUM ! I guess it was ladies night so me & her drinks were half priced! also half priced aps. they introduced me to the owner and he was very nice. I would definitely come here again. Actually when I get back to jersey it will be one of my first stops!

Fun local bar in a shopping plaza that seems nothing like a bar in a shopping plaza. On a Saturday night they had beer specials that went beyond Coors and Buds. Lots of seats at the bar and there’s a side area with pool, darts, and shuffle board. DJ bizzarely got a bit too techno for my liking but it wasn’t anything that ruined the night. I’m sure the internet jukebox gets put to good use most of the week anyway. Mixed crowd of all ages, mostly locals since it’s in the middle of Ramtown.
