They have the best pizza I’ve ever had! They make their dough from scratch and use fresh ingredients. We’ve had the Ooh La La pizza twice and each time it’s just amazing! Pesto, Parmesan shavings, fresh arugula, balsamic drizzle… delicious!

After living in Howell for two years, my husband and I finally tried the winery. We were amazed at how attentive the staff was and the pizza and wine were so great! I’m already anxious to go back. I definitely left that night with a bottle or two to take home. I highly recommend this family owned business to anybody who lives in Howell, and also to those who are just passing through.

Howell Main Street Winery is just wonderful! What a pleasant surprise, we had no idea what a great spot we were walking into. They have a shockingly large assortment of wines to choose from and all are great. The winery is run by a nice family who obviously has a great deal of pride of ownership. We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine in a great atmosphere with kind, genuine service. I can’t wait to go back and try a pizza as we watched several wonderful ones come out! This spot is just perfect and the kind of business you want to support. I would recommend it to everyone!

My friend and I have met at the Winery a couple of times as it is about half way point for he two of us. The first time we came, we attended a truffle making class that was hosted by the winery and«the Great Foodini». It was a lot of fun and the truffles were fantastic! We came for a second time, today to meet for lunch and wine. We had a fantastic time! The owners gave us a few tastings from their very extensive selection of wines. They have everything from sweet strawberry Merlot, which my friend had, to dry red blends, which I had, and everything in between. We split one of their large pizzas for our meal. It was a margarita type of pizza called a Wine-A-Rita. The crust was nice and crisp, the basil was fresh and the amount of balsamic glaze was just perfect! My only criticism was I wish there had been a little bit more cheese. Shaved Parmesan was on top, whereas I prefer mozzarella(that’s just me). We had more than enough to enjoy and take home! In addition to the wine, they also have several beers, hard cider and even root beer. The owner gave us a sample of the root beer and it was fantastic!!! The ambiance is beautiful. Very comfy. Music was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon/evening in Howell. Stop in for a meal or just to pick up a great bottle of wine! We will be back!

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon while in town visiting my Mom. Very cute on the inside with a very nice tasting area where you can sample several wines before you buy. We each ordered a glass of wine and shared a small salad and pizza. The food was excellent… Pizza had the perfect amount of fresh toppings and the crust was nice and crisp. Their red sauce is amazing! We were able to sit outside with the nice weather but they had a very cute dining area inside that I’m sure would be very cozy on a cold winter day. Can’t wait to go back when I’m in town again!

Great Wine and Excellent Pizza and even better Bread-sticks. Has a great atmosphere for a winery that is right on the main street. Very attentive owners. We would definitely visit again and highly recommend this as a stop if you’re close by.

Fantastic wine, best pizza in Livingston County hands down, and great owners. The interior is so nicely designed, as well. My husband and I have never gotten a wine here that we didn’t like. I especially love all the different fruit varieties and the sangria. Hope the winery stays around for a long time!

My wife & I love this family-run jewel and drop in weekly for one of their superb wines and best pizza anywhere(amazing crust). Sandy & John’s impressive wine assortment has just been joined by a small selection of craft beers, on tap, adding another reason to visit! Baked Brie and cheese plates round out the menu, and some evenings Jessica has one of her scrumptious dessert specialties on hand, which often pairs nicely with the house port. Combine all this with its wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere, Howell’s Mainstreet Winery is a real delight and tops our list of local favorites!

We have made the trip from Garden City to Howell many times now due to the wonderful selection and exceptionally helpful and courteous staff. Sandy and John are very knowledgeable and friendly to the point of making you spend more money than you originally planned! The selection of wines is top notch. We haven’t partaken of the food selection yet, though I imagine it will be every bit as good as the drink. Do yourself a favor and make sure to visit in February and August as they run a buy(1) get one ½ off on batches of wine. We have done this 3 times so far, and absolutely will be back again in August. Sandy, John and the staff will help you all the way from the tasting to the label picking and bottling of the wine in the end. So far our favorite wines are — Calypso, Forbidden Fruit and the House White. There is definitely something for every wino here. Make sure to stop in frequently as they offer several different seasonal wines that you don’t want to miss out on.

Lovely, quaint little shop. Lots of places to sit, lean or stand. Attentive owners and helpful staff. Reds to whites to dessert and sweet wine choices. Complementary tastings. Light food menu. Cooking classes and wine pairing dinners offered. Reasonable per bottle pricing with«batch» options. A batch produces twenty eight full size bottles and includes corks, personalized template labels and caps. The bottle cost is additional or you can bring in your own recycled label-free ones. Choosing the batch option and bringing in your own bottles reduces the cost to about half per bottle. This winery also has a high paranormal activity area. Yes, orbs and mists that have human shape. A paranormal investigative team has documented these activities. Ask to see the photos. Very interesting and intriguing indeed.

A very charming local shop specializing in there own brand of local private label wines. A truly helpful staff and that knows their product well. Tasting recommendations are spot on. With their service you get the feeling of being personally looked after in an old town atmosphere. The wine selections always make for a interesting pairings or a nice gift from this region. I often buy a seasonal wine as a unique present to send to far away friends, also for hostess or celebratory gifts and not forgetting to pick up an occasional bottle or two of my favorites for my own table. Price point for this product is what one would expect. A little more than mass produced wines but not the outrageous prices of some other private wineries
