If I could give zero stars I would. Avoid Sara for a facial. She is more concerned about selling you upgrades and products. She get very annoyed if you do not purchase. I came out of my facial as if I sat in the sun for hours. My face was so red and on fire. She also never removed what she put on my face because there was white on the top and side of my face. My daughters whom were there couldnt believe what I looked like when I came out. The next day I developed blisters above my chin.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst massage I’ve ever had! The whole time I felt so uncomfortable. It felt like this was my therapist’s first time massaging anyone! The whole massage was painful and felt rushed. For the body massage they are supposed to do the face and scalp but my therapist skipped that entire portion. The legs and arms also felt rushed. The brick location is 10000 times better. Don’t waste your money here and go to brick. Update 11⁄8: thank you Stephanie(manager at hand & stone) for personally calling me on your cell phone on your day off. This shows that you guys really do care about your customers. Much appreciated!

Would’ve given 5 stars but we forgot the tip and were going to return the following day to drop it off … Until we got a phone call asking if we misplaced the tip then started demanding money after we explained that we forgot to leave one then they proceeded to ask for our credit card information repeatedly. We were taken back by how assertive they were about it ! I don’t know how they weren’t embarrassed. Sad to say we won’t be returning to hand and stone for that phone call.

7÷29÷15− oh it never fails– I had to call and reschedule my appointment for Saturday due to conflicts– but thought hey I should see if they have an opening for the hubbs– no problem at all– hows that for service?! McKenzie(sp) was poilte and helpful and the time slots we requested were spot on. thanks so much– and looking forward to our appointments. Update review to follow. 7÷28−15− New location and have been wanting to check it out– called for an appointment for massage and facial– no problem and got the time I wanted.

I have now been to this location nearly every month since it’s opened and I have nothing but positive feedback. Everyone here is so professional and polite. The girls at the front desk are welcoming and inviting and answer any and all questions with a smile. I have had facials and massages and have enjoyed them all. The environment is relaxing and I look forward to my monthly visits!

Went this past weekend with a friend of mine for a «Girls Day» I’ve been to the brick location & their is a massage therapist their that I love! Only went to the Howell location because the guy at brick didn’t have the time slots we needed. Anyway! I got the 80 min hot stone massage, it was OK(I’ve gotten it before at the brick location) the gentleman I had was fairly new to massage therapy & has never done a hot stone treatment to a client outside of his schooling. It was awful! I can’t tell you how many times I said OUCH! LIGHTERPRESSURE! OUUCCHHH!!! I guess he was afraid to work on women, only did lower ½ of my thigh, never had my chest done. I paid $ 106 for that service & it was awful! I left their in pain because he was way to hard on my back, even though I told the guy countless times, lighter pressure! My friend on the other hand left their feeling like a million bucks! Not me, I left their with lower back pain & what feels like a bruise on my lower back!

This hand & stone is the best I’ve ever been to! The lobby is beautiful and the girls at the front desk are always extremely friendly and professional. I’ve tried multiple therapists and estheticians here and I’ve never been disappointed. There is someone here to fit anyone’s needs! The membership is also awesome and reasonably priced. Can’t wait for my next appointment!

When you buy a gift card for a specific service, not a cash value card, you expect that the recipient of the gift will present the card and receive the prepaid service as gifted. Well if it is the Hand and Stone in Howell expect the opposite. Brought a gift certificate on-line for my wife for a massage and she was told the on-line price and the in-store prices are different, therefore you owe us additional money. How unethical and perhaps unlawful is that. Not to mention just bad customer service. I caution you that gift cards from Hand and Stone are not what they appear to be. Prepare for the recipient to be asked to pay additional for the service that you paid for. Avoid potential embarrassment and go elsewhere.

I am a Hand and Stone member and this Hand and Stone opened up close to where I live. When they first opened everything was great. Great massage, friendly staff, great facial. Now, I try to schedule appointments and everything is always an issue with scheduling. I’ve had problems with the front desk writing down wrong times, calling me to tell me I’m late for my appointment, even though my confirmation email had the time I had gotten there. And for the past two weeks I’ve been trying to make an appointment for a massage and everything is always booked up(even though they supposedly take walk-ins??). I like hand and stone and I’ve had great massages and great facials. However, I do not think I will be scheduling appointments at this particular one any more.
