A quaint and somewhat challenging course for the country golfer. Some interesting greens and hazards. Watch out for the ghetto kids hiding in the forest, blowing the airhorn on the back nine trying to sell your balls back to you…

A simple and forgiving course. After coming off one of the worst rounds all season the day before, Faulkwood Shores has helped me get some confidence back in my game. Be wary of the par fours on the front nine because if you put your ball behind the pin, expect long and difficult down hill puts. While the front is a bit more open and forgiving, the back tightens up requiring precision off the tee boxes. The course is in pretty good condition and it is definitely not the«cow pasture» as it looks from the street. The course is not nearly on the level of a Tanglewood, Moose Ridge, or Pohl Cat– think Brae Burn, Glen Oaks, or any Livonia course. Therefore, I give it three stars for being a fun and challenging course.
