Love the brisket nachos & beers are delicious and unique. Every time I visit, they have a mix of new beers & regular favorites as well (like the Blood Orange IPA). Along with the nachos, we shared the BBQ platter with a group of four and left very full & happy! A great place to kick back and enjoy some beers. A great addition to Howell!

A great Venue, Good Beer and the baby back ribs are out of this world! Tender falling off the bone! Scott our Bartender was very helpful with choosing our 2 different flights of beer! The service was fantastic! This is a must if you are in the Howell Area! Great food, Great beer and a great atmosphere!

I’m super torn on this review. The staff was great and service was prompt. The Caesar salad and chili I had were both thoroughly enjoyable. The bar is clean and looks nice. BUT the beer just wasn’t as amazing as I was hoping it would be.
I tried the Wired, Block out Stout, Alias Amber, and Blood Red Orange. The wired coffee stout had a funky aftertaste and lacked the depth I was looking for from a stout. The Block out was a standard beer; nothing to complain about, but nothing special. The Alias amber, like the block out was just meh. The only one I actually liked was the Blood Red Orange, and even that one I wouldn’t want a full pint of.
Maybe I just need to go on a different day or try something else.

I love the pulled pork sandwich. It’s tender and comes with coleslaw on it (if you want), which is delicious. The fries are seasoned just right– get the aioli dipping sauce, it’s so good.
The beer menu is heavy on IPAs (which I’m not a fan of– hence the 1 star penalty), but I love the Braided Blond and the Alias Amber– lots of flavor. We’ve been back several times.

First experience was horrible.
My friend & I walked in around 4:30pm excited to try a new brewery and were greeted by a very friendly host. We said we were going to the bar & found two seats. There was one table sat & maybe 8 people sitting at the bar (including us). We looked around, found their beers posted on a chalk board behind the bar and decided what we wanted to try.
I made a comment to my friend about how I’ll need to buy a pint glass to add to my collection. It looked like they had a cool selection of merchandise. At this point we have been sitting for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement from the bartender. From where we were sitting, it sounded like she was complaining to the manager about a co-​worker while counting her drawer. The bartender & the manager both made eye contact with us a few times but kept on with their conversation. So we walked out. They watched us & didn’t try to stop us. The look on the host’s face didn’t look surprised. Maybe this happens often?
If one of them had said «be right with you» or acted like they cared about their guests, we would have stayed to try a beer.
I’ll try it again. It looked like a cool place with good beers, just looks like they need a better staff.

We so want to love this place. The pizzas good the ribs and brisket are good and the overall atmosphere is just what you would want.
There have just been a few issues that keep holding us back. Tonight’s overall service is precisely the issues that could prevent return visits.
The Transporter Porter is completely miss described on the menu and does not represent the beer. It is different than the actual (correct) description you will find on the website. The menu should be corrected.
When returning the small 4 oz beer from our flight due to the wrong menu description it took a good 15 minutes for it to be replaced.
When asking about a menu selection for dinner, the waitress completely misrepresented the meal. Not intentional but she clearly did not know the correct answer and for someone else could have been clearly a reason to send back. The food was good but not a described based on our question.
Again, nice atmosphere and it’s nice to have something like this so close. We will try again in hopes of learning to love it.

Ok back here today and had an actual meal… yummy!!! I had the beef brisket, so tender and not dry. pretty awesome as far as brisket is concerned. My girlfriend had the baby back ribs O M G!!! The most amazingly juicy, fall off the bone ribs. This place takes #1 for those for sure. I liked the onion rings that I got (extra up charge) but, the batter they use for them is so hard that it kinda rips up your gums but, does taste really good. We also had the coleslaw, creamy & yummy, green beans… perfectly sautéed with a nice garlic flavoring. Very happy with this evening of BBQ!
Also the beer is always good. We tried the tan lines beer and it is pretty interesting and tasty… like a combination of Beer and OJ smoothie. Yum!

My husband, daughter and I live about 40 minutes away but were in the area to do a painting at another brewery and stopped here for lunch. There was a lot to choose from on the menu. I got a small pepperoni pizza and my husband got a burger. The food was a little bit better than average, but we got fries with garlic aoili sauce as an appetizer. The fries were out of this world good. I would’ve been satisfied with two helpings of fries. Or five. Because I could just sit there and eat them until I made myself sick I’m sure.
We each got beer flights with different beers. 4 beers on the flight for $ 7, good price. I got the tangerine hefeweizen, cross eyed moose, alias amber and windows down. The tangerine hef was pretty good, almost shandy like. The cross eyed moose was my favorite. Had a nutty, caramel taste to it. I’ve been to breweries with better and worse beers, this falls in between. I like the décor and atmosphere, if it was closer we’d frequent this place. Next time we’re in the area though we’ll stop in.

Smoked wings are awesome. So are the fries with parm cheese. Great service. Although you can’t taste a wine selection, if you don’t like it you can send it back. I don’t drink beer but was very pleased with the other alcohol selections.
