Cook was great waitress was very attentive. Way faster and better quality/​more for your money than nakashima’s. Will definitely be coming back to this location specifically!

Amazing dinner tonite! The steak was melt in your mouth, perfectly grilled medium rare. The Crab Rangoon was surprisingly delicious, not your typical «sushi roll» but worth it. Atmosphere is comfortable and stylish with excellent service. Highly recommend for date night!

My husband and I went there one night around 8 pm for some sushi and drinks. We sat at the bar with one other person there. The (girl) bartender was not very engaging or welcoming. She didn’t talk to the other guy either. Drinks were ok. Sushi was… meh. I felt like we were inconveniencing her. It wasn’t a great experience. Won’t go back. Disappointed to say the least.

Right off the bat their banner quote is, «chains are overrated, stick with original.» I’m sorry, but a place that has 2 locations already and I’m sure they’d love to open a 3^rd location… so we’ll see how long that statement lasts. I would love to give them a lesson in design as well. Yes it’s a sushi restaurant, but you don’t need to use the most obscure font for your menus. Also dark red walls and black ceilings just make your restaurant incredibly dark. The exterior looks like a trashy bar too so that’s great, really appeals to Wisconsinites I guess. So moving onto food, they really should teach the waitresses how to serve the food all at the same time, rather than half the table then waiting 10 minutes. The sushi was mediocre at best, for a $ 12 roll I’d expect it to be better plated and just in general not having 2 of the pieces tipped over. If you’re looking for sushi plated on Walmart plates this is your place, but if you’re looking for something that will actually leave you decently not enraged I’d suggest Cocos or really anywhere else even festival.

Had a great meal here last week: tasty, fresh, hot. Excellent scallops and steak. Lovely dish of orange sherbet to finish meal. Welcomed and treated well. The chef’s performance at the hibachi was entertaining.
I knew I was in the US and not Europe though, because I felt we were rushed along a bit…
which happened last time we visited as well. But then, we did return for the food.

Called 30 minutes before the doors open and asked if we could order take out for pick up after they opened. Was hastily told «We are closed. Call back later.». I understood and called back 30 minutes after they opened for the night. The phone was answered rudely and when I asked to order carry out I was told «Well… we are busy. It is dinner time. Maybe you can call back later.» The tone of the person who answered the phone was rude.
If they were going to be busy so quickly… couldn’t they take my order the first time and just make it when they opened?
