Absolutely gross, it all went right in the garbage can. I can’t even begin to describe the smell of the Meatball and Cheesesteak subs. It was so bad it’s possible the meat was straight up rancid The drinks were flat, not cold, and that’s even after we had to scoop our own ice out of a bucket next to the machine because it was broken. Yea well more than the ice machine part was broken cause a single sip was too much and I spit it out all over the place. Not only flat, there was something just plain wrong about how they tasted. Machine has probably never been cleaned or something. At terrible fast food chains these days most of us expect our food to come straight out of a microwave but… not in one they obviously purchased at a freaking department store. Get some professional equipment! The POS system should have been decommissioned back in the 90s. Dirty and filthy don’t even begin to describe this place. Embarrassing. How the heck Cousins Subs even exists anymore is beyond my comprehension based on what we saw. If we were paying cash instead of off a gift card we unfortunately received, I would have stopped them halfway thru making our order and demanded our money back before ever receiving the food. Health department needs to check this place out, pronto. First and Last visit, do not waste your time. Edit: After reviewing the email Cousins Subs sent me I’ve concluded their position is that of absolving themselves of any responsibility due to the fact franchises are independently owned and operated. The brand name is still their property and you can’t blindly trust others to keep your name in good standing. The blame still goes to Cousin’s corporate, because we as customer’s don’t care about your«independently-owned franchise» business. We see the exact same Cousin’s logo on every building, there is no way we as customers are going to sympathize with you trying to pass the buck off on some terrible franchise owner. Any good business owner knows: Protect Your Assets. As a franchised business that asset is your Name, even though these stores are independently owned I’m sure they have clauses in their licensing agreement that would allow you to intervene on a store doing things this badly(if those clauses don’t exist, it’s your own fault). Which means you probably could have done something had you taken the time to go look. Time to get out of your corporate offices and ensure franchise owners aren’t screwing your company over. Because I for one will not differentiate between a franchise owner and the company name. You sold that name, time to pay for it.
