Dr. McKnight, has an attitude with the patients husbands. She always seemed to be in a bad mood. Always late to her appointments, which would drive me crazy because I always have to be somewhere and off course she did not give a damm. When my babies where born she BROKE the left femur bone of my baby boy. Instead of taking responsibility for the issue, she just said that the baby could have a disease in his bones and that cause it to break. I would not recommend her to anyone

If you’re looking for a great gynecologist, call Dr. Michael D. Hold. He’s taken care of me for about 4 years now. He’s in Medical Office Building 1, Suite 390. Wait times are usually within 20 minutes of your appointment time. Schedule earlier in the day for the best chance of seeing him at or near your appointment time. He’s very friendly, personable and is a great listener. With every visit we talk about what’s going on in our lives. He’s a travel buff and always asks me about prior and upcoming travel plans. When I’m in the stirrups(a little TMI for ya) he engages me in conversation to keep my mind off of the task at hand. Even though I wish he’d just shut up and get it done, I appreciate the try. He practices out of three offices in West Houston but appointments are coordinated on a single call-in line, 713.365.2900.

I was looking for an OBGYN close to home and this facility was the closets one to my home. Also, my insurance had given me a list of in network doctors and Dr. Monique McKnight was one of them. There was no specific reason why I chose her. She just do happen to be on the list and worked in the facility close to my home. My first experience was a little frustrating to say the least. I just wish I didn’t wait 2 hours, just to see the OBGYN for just literally half an hour for an exam. Tuesday July 14, 2015 I seriously wish the wait wasn’t so long. My appt was supposed to be at 11:15am and I didn’t get seen by the doctor until 1:00pm. Literally 2 hours. I got to my appt at around 11:06am and I would say about 10 – 15 minutes later, I fill out paperwork. There weren’t that many women there sitting in the waiting room. I would say that there were about 3 pregnant women and 3 other women that were new and filling out paperwork like myself. When my name for called up, I finally go in about around 11:58, close to noon. The nurse/receptionist did apologize for the long wait and proceeded with the pre-exams. Got my weight and other procedures. I finally get into the room, just to wait another hour. I mean, if I’m going to be waiting that long, my appt might as well should’ve been at 1pm instead. I just sat there wondering what in the heck is taking so long. Ugh. A little past 1, finally doctor McKnight comes in the room and greets herself. Her bedside manner is pretty solid. She was gentle and made sure I was okay. Did some preventative exams and asked questions. I didn’t have much to ask so the visit wasn’t too long. I paid my copay at the end of the visit. The receptionists were nice and not rude at all. Although, I didn’t get asked if I wanted to schedule a follow up exam. I wasn’t too sure what the procedure was, but I definitely didn’t get asked if I wanted to schedule another appt. When it comes to scheduling, there’s only one phone number and I guess an operator or whoever it is does the scheduling for BOTH locations. There’s two and you have to be specific on which doctor you want and what location. Overall, I wish my experience was a little better. I know what is like to work in a doctor’s office, but I wish I wouldn’t have to wait 2+ hours. Even with a morning appt set, half my day is gone just being in the waiting room. Doctor’s bedside manner was good. Nurse and receptionists were also polite.
