Wolfe’s Cleaners

warning: despite THEIR website saying they offer wash and fold laundry service, they DO NOT!
while on a business trip we needed a laundry service and scoured Unilocal to find a good one. since we are not from the area we rely on the accuracy of what’s written on the COMPANY website to make decisions.
we lug a suitcase full of dirty clothes down to Wolfe Cleaners only to be told
«we don’t do laundry».
«but your website says you do» i tell the young girl behind the counter.
«ya we used to but not any more».
great! good to know! now what!?!
she was polite and friendly enough but that doesn’t change the fact we have a shitload of dirty clothes in a suitcase and nowhere to go!
UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE PEOPLE!

For months I have been dropping off my shirts here, and they have yet to fail me. Price is right (for shirts). Good service, and they are open on Sat morning.

The dry cleaning is great here. My suits, shirts, and slacks always come home in great shape. They understand the meaning of light starch and offer great suggestions as to how you should handle a piece of clothing.
What really sets them apart is the service! I called one day because I was running late and I really needed to pick up a particular suit I wanted to wear for a friend’s wedding. The gentleman working offered to stay until I could get there. Furhermore, he offered to run my card over the phone so I wouldn’t even have to park and he could just run the clothes out to my car. He ended up staying late 20 minutes and was still very kind. The whole situation was amazing to me. I feel like service like this is hard to find these days. He definitely earned my continued business!

Thought I would give a little shout out to my cleaners.
Wolfe’s Cleaners is a tiny little shop by Main & Congress, next to Edible Arrangements. a little hard to spot, but deserving of your business. Nothing too spectacular, I mean, it’s a drycleaners. However they always get my stuff done quickly and correctly, and their in-​house seamstress is a genius with your busted threads. Friendly staff, fair prices, excellent service and location is very clothes (wink) to downtown. Give them a try.
