Hands down, the most interesting shop in Houston. It’s a cross between a museum, home, and oddities shop. I love this place. The owners are so great and every time I go in, there is something new to see and discuss. When I «grow up», I want to work here so I can enjoy this shop every day.

Really cool, moderately priced collection that’s always changing! The people working there were super friendly too, we walked in 30min before close and weren’t sure what to expect but we were greeted very warmly and felt totally welcome they’ve got a really wide variety of pieces ranging from wet horse eyeball specimens to live birds to an actual rhino head! there’s something there for everybody. Definitely will be back.

This is without a doubt my favorite store in Houston currently! I’ve only been there twice, but both times my experience was very rewarding. Unlike some oddity stores there isn’t a huge emphasis on being ultra creepy or scary, but instead there is elegance in the macabre. Even some of the darker elements underline the fact that there is beauty in death. There is a great deal of variety in items; from quack medial objects to wet specimens, statues of deities from different cultures to taxidermy, and everything in between. The owners are also extremely nice, taking time to get to chat with each customer on a personal level, and they even put out treats and beverages while you shop. You are also highly encouraged to ask questions, take photographs, and browse — even if you ultimately do not purchase. There are also beautiful live birds on site that you can watch as well as continuous music that greatly adds to the ambience. All in all this is a phenomenal store and I plan to be a patron for many years to come.

Oh man… This place could charge admission. A total masterpiece that must be experienced. Visually stimulating & spatially calming. I will be visiting frequently. They’ve got a unique scented candle selection with tobacco type scents. Perhaps the coolest store I’ve ever stepped in.

This place has a fabulous collection of oddities, art, and randomness. The store is perfectly put together to put you in the right mood for all the strange things you’ll find within. The lighting, the scent in the air, and the music all perfectly match the feel of the items for sale. Shopping there has made me want to redo my entire house so I can include more of their dark and strange art in my décor. I also love that they do not seem to mind people who just want to look and take pictures. For my first purchase I got a life-sized silver skull. I’ll most definitely be back for more items to add to my collection.

This is a super awesome place. Eveytime my girlfriend and I go in there’s something new to see. We can stay in the store for hours just looking at all the oddities. Hardest part for both of us is figuring out what to buy. When ever we are in the area it is a mandatory stop. We love wilde collections!

Odd and weird, but oh so good! I love that you can walk in here and see things you wouldn’t normally see anywhere else. I could stay here all day. A place where you want to look at every single item in the store. I walked out with a décor item for my room without breaking bank. I can’t wait to come back and find a new treasure.

Need a horse heart floating in a jar? They’ve got you covered. What about a tiger head? Check. A human skull? Yup. Just about the most interesting, visually dramatic, avant-garde, and eclectic store I’ve ever visited. And that includes all the oddity shops in New York City and Chicago.

I’ve visited The Wilde Collection several times now and always look forward to the next visit, as its a wonderland for me. This place is like a museum and gift shop all in one. Its kind of like entering another dimension – like the home of The Munsters or Addams Family. Cousin It could be in there somewhere. Even if you’re not into weird stuff like a real human skeleton in a cool antique coffin, there’s probably something there for you. There’s candles, jewelry, colognes along with elegant home décor and the prices are reasonable. Owners are very nice and welcoming yet leave you be, in order to explore and photo taking is OK, even encouraged. One of the coolest new shops in the Heights.

First moment that door opened I couldn’t stop smiling! I’ve been to a good amount of oddity stores but nothing caught my eye like this one did. Elegant and organized which looked intimidating to my wallet at first but when I looked the prices I was so happy! Best prices I’ve seen! Beyond friendly and attentive staff who cared about our opinions and what we personally liked. Overall I fell in love with this place. Definitely recommend!
